Programming exercises are widely diffused, including our university. However, we think students are not doing enough reflection because reflection support system is not introduced in programming exercises. In this research, we aim to improve programming learning environment at the introductory stage by promot-ing students reflection. Self-assessment and mutual-assessment are effective to promote such reflection. Therefore, we intend to develop e-Portfolio system that has functions to support both-assessment. This pa-per describes the present findings of the reflection using learning works at our university and the proposed e-Portfolio system.
