INTERLACING

　 この作品 『 INTERLACING 』 は、 記 憶 の 中 に 留 め て お き た い 画 像 を ポ リ エ ス テ ル 繊 維 に 熱 転 写 し、 産 業 資 材 で あ る ア ミ ラ ド 繊 維 の シ ー ト に 編 み 込 ん だ も の で あ る。 画 像 と、 砂 を 接 着 し た ア ミ ラ ド 繊 維 の シ ー ト を 一 体 化 さ せ る こ と で、 産 業 資 材 と し て の 用 途 で は な く、 新 た な 表 現 の 脇 役 に な っ て も ら っ た。 産 業 資 材 の 本 来 の 使 用 目 的 は 明 確 で あ る。 建 築、 土 木、 住 空 間 な ど 環 境 整 備 の 役 割 が 主 で あ る が、 作 家が作品の素材と し て扱う こ と で、 今 ま で 見 た 事 も な い 形 態 に 様 を 変 え、 異 質 な 存 在 感 や 素 材 感 を 放 つ 場 合 が あ る。 こ の 異 質 な 存 在 感 や 素 材 感 に 魅 了 さ れ る 者、 違 和 感 を 持 つ 者 が 出 て き て 当 然 で あ り、 こ の 瞬 間 か ら 産 業 資 材 は 作 品 の 一 部 と し て 認 知 さ れ、 本 来 の 目 的 以 外 に も 用 途 が 開 か れ る こ と に な り、 そ の 作 品 に と っ て 最 良 の 素 材 と な る。 INTERLACING ポリエステル／アミラド繊維 H125×W125×3cm 2011年 仁尾敬二展『INTERLACING』 ギャラリーマロニエ／京都 2011年10月25日～11月6日
