システムの最小要件

項目 必要条件 オペレーティングシステム Backup Exec サーバーは 64 ビットの OS プラットフォームにのみインストール可能です。

Windows Server 2008、2012、2012 R2、2016 の Windows Server Core インストールオプションを実行しているコンピュータにはインストールできません。Server Core コンピュータには、Backup Exec Windows エージェントのみインストール可能です。

読み取り専用ドメインコントローラ (RODC) ロールに構成された Windows Server 2008 コンピュータには、SQL Express や SQL Server はインストールできません。読み取り専用ドメインコントローラロールでは、SQL Express や SQL Server に必要なローカルアカウントを使用できません。RODC コンピュータに Backup Exec をインストールする場合、Backup Exec データベースにリモート SQL インスタンスを選択する必要があります。

Windows Server 2012 以降を実行するコンピュータの場合、ReFS ボリュームまたは、重複排除が有効となっているボリューム上には、Backup Exec や Agent for Windows はインストールできません。

注意:

• Backup Exec 2014、15、および 16 のエージェントは、アップグレードの目的のみで、Backup Exec 20 サーバーとの後方互換性が確保されています。この構成は非推奨で、サポート期間も限られます。すべての Backup Exec コンポーネントを、できるだけ早く同じバージョンにしてください。

• 以前に Intelligent Image Option を使用してバックアップされたデータは、Backup Exec 20 でリストアできなくなります。

仮想への変換

注意:

• 仮想への変換機能は、Hyper-V 環境と VMware ESX 環境の両方をサポートします。

• Windows Server 2008 SP2 は、仮想マシン用のターゲット Hyper-V ホストではサポートされません。ターゲットコンピュータでは、Windows Server 2008 R2 以上が実行されている必要があります。

• 仮想への変換機能では、ファイバーチャネルディスクデバイス (Windows ボリュームとして使用されていないもの)、USB デバイス、リムーバブルディスク、iSCSI ディスクの変換はサポートされません。Hyper-V と VMware のいずれにも、この制限があります。

• VMware Converter は GPT ディスクを変換しません。

• 32 ビット VMware サーバーの物理から仮想へのワンタイム変換はサポートされません。
