Directions for Use
Refer to product label for Lorsban Advanced for Use Precautions and Restrictions, Mixing and Application instructions.
Apply 4 pints of Lorsban Advanced per acre during the establishment year (plant crop) of permanent pineapple plantings. Mix the specified dosage in 200 to 500 gallons of spray per acre and apply as a foliar broadcast spray using suitable ground equipment. Apply postplant and repeat at 30-day intervals, if necessary, up to three months after planting.
Users who wish to use Lorsban Advanced to control mealybugs infesting nonbearing pineapple may determine the suitability for such use by treating a small number of plants at the specified rate. Prior to treatment of more plants, the treated plants should be observed for any sign of herbicidal injury during 30 days of normal growing conditions to determine if the treatment is safe. The user assumes the responsibility for any plant damage or other liability resulting from the use of Lorsban Advanced on insects not specified on this label.
Specific Use Restrictions:
• Worker Restricted Entry Interval: Do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areas during the restricted entry interval (REI) of 24 hours unless PPE required for early entry is worn.
• Preharvest Interval: Do not apply within 365 days of harvest.
Do not apply more than 12 pints per acre per year or more than 4 pints per acre per single application.
Do not make more than three applications per plant crop.
Do not make applications beyond three months after planting.
Do not make a second application of Lorsban Advanced or any other product containing chlorpyrifos within 30 days of the first application.
Do not use any plant material from treated fields for food or feed within one year of application.
Do not apply to ratoon crops.
Do not aerially apply this product.
Do not allow spray to drift from the application site and contact people, structures people occupy at any time and the associated property, parks and recreation areas, non-target crops, aquatic and wetland sites, woodlands, pastures, rangelands, or animals. Refer to the Spray Drift Management section on the product label for additional spray drift precautions and restrictions.

The pesticide should only be applied when the potential for drift to adjacent sensitive areas (e.g., residential areas, bodies of water, known habitat for threatened or endangered species, non-target crops) is minimal (e.g., when wind is blowing away from the sensitive areas).
This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment or residues on blooming crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds if bees are actively visiting the treatment area.
