Overview of Toshima City After-School Daycare Club
This facility is for children who are unable to receive proper care after school due to their parents’ need to work, illness, or other reason. Through an environment characterized by interaction with others, the
children are taught to be independent, and are provided with assistance in receiving a sound educational background.
To be eligible for this facility, either your address must be in Toshima City or your child (children) must attend a Toshima City elementary school; and you must be unable
to provide after-school care for your child (children) due
to one of the following reasons. 1. Work (*1)
2. Illness or injury (currently recovering) 3. Physical or emotional disability
4. You provide nursing care for family members in the same household
5. Other reason similar to 1-4 above

(*1) You are not eligible if you work only a small number of hours per day and/or a minimal number of days per month.

as of Friday, December 1. Upon getting the details of the After-School Daycare Club, confirm that you meet the required conditions.Apply within the specified time frame.
Apply at the appropriate After-School Daycare Club location.
An interview with your child/children is required for new applicants.
Submitted documents will be subjected to a screening process.
You will be informed of your
acceptance with the After-School
Daycare Approval Notice.
Applicants wishing to use the facility as of April 1 who applied during the application period will
receive notice of acceptance/rejection by early March. Please note that depending on individual
facility capacity, you may need to utilize a Club location other than your first choice, or you may be placed on a waiting list.
NOTE: If you cease to meet the requirements of facility use, or if you have made false statements on your application, you will no longer be eligible to use the facility.
If you have failed to pay Club fees, you will no longer be allowed to use the facility. 9:00 am - 18:00 pm

Individuals using the facility after 17:00 pm and requesting snacks for their children must pay an additional monthly snack fee in cash.
If your child will be absent from the facility for a continuous period of 15 days or longer, please notify the facility ahead of time. (Snack fee will be reduced by half).
For individuals who meet reduction or exemption
eligibility criteria, the City offers a 50% reduction (but
this does not apply for households sending two or more
children to the facility).
