Function of Set Time-Cost for ToDo List Kazuo Sato1. Hitoshi Matsubara1. Abstract: The purpose of this study is to establish the way of management with our time using a smart phone application. We usually use Post-It or ToDo lists not to forget what we have to do. In case of developing software, we usually use a Gantt chart, which visualize each cost and time, to manage schedules for projects. On the other hand, in our lives, many people use ToDo Lists or notebooks to manage their tasks. However, ToDo Lists rarely contain functions to set Time-Cost even though they usually contain functions to set a priority or a deadline. We develop a new ToDo List application which can set Time-Cost for one task. For an experiment, we build up a hypothesis which the list with setting the Time-Cost contains a higher usability than without setting the Time-Cost because it is easy to set a schedule. We focus on the Time-Cost, and reveal the effect and usability.
