Acclaimed design firm Rockwell Group created the resort’s dramatic lobby, restaurants, amenities, infinity pool and deck, guest rooms and suites; and architectural firm Pacific Asia Design Group enhanced the grand and refined space with elegant touches that evoke the celebrated Hawaiian spirit.
A commanding porte-cochère entrance welcomes guests into a captivating lobby with an open floor plan, soaring floor-to-ceiling window walls, and a striking series of six 18’ tall pillars
hand-wrapped in basket-woven teak. A custom coral wall sculpture named “MAKAI” by famed artist Nina Helms is the signature piece of the reception area, offering a poetic interpretation of the
natural coral wonders that lie beneath the ocean’s surface.

A dining nook and wet bar plus a crisp bathroom with dual vanities, wet room with a rain shower and soaking tub complete the luxurious envelope. All guest rooms and suites feature Malie Organics’ Koke’e scented bath products and have a custom blended coffee program.

The one-bedroom Seascape Suites overlook Diamond Head and provide spectacular partial ocean views. With a separate and expansive living room, the Seascape Suite encourages tranquil relaxation features, a marble-swathed bathroom with a soaking tub, a 100 square foot private lanai, a Harman Kardon sound system, and 660 square feet of living space that includes a king bed and sleeper sofa.
The luxurious one-bedroom Beachside Suites offer spectacular, unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean and Waikiki Beach. With extended lanais that provide seamless indoor-outdoor living spaces, the suites offer a separate living space, a spa-like marble bath with a soaking tub and a Harman Kardon sound system. With more than 700 square feet of living space, the Beachside Suites include a king bed and a sleeper sofa. Iconic to the property’s history, the newly restored 280,000-gallon saltwater Oceanarium is home to more than 550 indigenous marine animals encompassing 44 current species. Guests can sit back and drift away watching the mesmerizing schools of native Hawaiian reef fish. Twice daily at 10:30am and 2:30pm, an ‘Alohilani scuba diver feeds the fish and interacts with guests so they can learn about the wonders of the Hawaiian undersea.

‘Alohilani resides on land that belongs to Queen Lili’oukalani’s Trust and is named after one of her beachside cottages, meaning “heavenly brightness” or “royal light.” In honor of her legacy and a deep commitment to preserving Hawaii’s forests, ‘Alohilani has partnered with Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initative (HLRI), a non-profit organization committed to returning the indigenous koa, milo and sandalwood trees back to the Hawaiian Islands. By staying at ‘Alohilani, guests can contribute to these efforts. A $5 “tree fee” is added to each stay and goes straight to reforesting initiatives on Oahu and the Big Island of Hawaii.
Guests are encouraged to visit HLRI’s Gunstock Ranch on Oahu’s beautiful north shore and plant their own tree. Scenic tree
planting tours include horseback riding, helicopter and UTV tours. Each tree planted through HLRI is tagged with an individual radio-frequency identification chip that records everything from genetic makeup and health to the circumstances of the planting. Guests can track their tree throughout its lifetime.

アロヒラニはリリウオカラニ女王の信託地に建っており、女王のビーチサイド・ コテージの名前にちなんで命名されました。アロヒラニとは「天国のような明る さ」もしくは「王室の光」と言う意味を持ちます。この島の自然資源を守り再生す るという女王の遺志を継ぐ栄誉に預り、コア、ミロ、サンダルウッドなどのハワイ 固有種の樹木を復活させることを目的に植林活動に励む非営利団体「ハワイア ン・レガシー・リフォレステーション・イニシアティブ（HRLI）」と提携し、ハワイ の森林保護活動に深く貢献しています。宿泊されるゲストの皆様にも、この取り 組みにご参加いただいております。宿泊料のうち$5をHLRIの森林再生運動に寄 付し、ハワイ島およびオアフ島ノースショアのガンストック牧場内の500エーカ ーの土地に、大切なハワイ固有種からなる森林を再生しようとしているのです。 ゲストの皆様に本格的なハワイアン文化を体験していただくため、そして、絶滅 危惧種のハワイ固有種を復活させ本来の生態系を回復するという運動の一部と して、オアフ島の美しい北海岸にあるガンストック牧場に御自身の木を植樹いた します。木を植える景色の良いツアーには、乗馬やヘリコプター、UTV体験が含 まれます。植えられた木それぞれには高周波IDチップが埋め込まれ、遺伝学的 な性質や健康状態を記録することができます。ご結婚の記念に、お孫さんへの 贈り物として、または大切な方を悼んで…等々の理由で植樹に参加されたゲス トの皆様は、生涯を通じてそれぞれの木の成長を追跡することができます。On the Big Island, HLRI has already planted 400,000 trees on 1,200 acres. It was designated by the World Wildlife Fund as the first Gold Standard Certified Forest Carbon Credit in North America, and remains the only koa carbon credit in the world. The forest is pumping clean oxygen into the atmosphere at an astonishing rate: one koa tree alone can offset a vacation for a family of four. ‘Alohilani, with the help of their guests, has pledged to plant 100,000 trees with HLRI, helping to revive Hawaii’s endangered hardwood species and rehabilitate a native ecosystem.

Waikiki Beach has uniquely temperate island weather that falls into two main seasons: during June through October, the climate is a bit warmer and drier with daily high temperatures of about 84 degrees Fahrenheit/28 degrees Celsius and lows of about 70 degrees Fahrenheit/21 degrees Celsius at night; during November through May, the climate is considered cooler by Hawaii standards with daily high temperatures of about 81 degrees Fahrenheit/27 degrees Celsius and lows of about 65 degrees Fahrenheit/18 degrees Celsius at night.
