Japan Customs As from February 19, 2016, if you depart for North Korea with currency and coins or other means of payment exceeding 0.1 million JPY, you are required to declare to Customs. Please ask a Customs officer at seaport as well as airport for a blank form.
DECLARATION OF CARRYING OF MEANS OF PAYMENT, ETC. consists of 2 copies. Please use a pen, print clearly and press firmly. Submit the completed forms to the Customs officer. （First:
For Customs, Second: Submitter s copy）
◎ Following items in excess of 0.1 million JPY(or their equivalent):
・ Currency and Coins
(including foreign currency)
・ Checks
・ Travelers checks
・ Promissory notes
・ Securities
Please fill in your flight No. or name of vessel and place of destination of flight or vessel.
If your scheduled date of departure is the day you submit declaration, please check Day of declaration . If your scheduled date of departure is the day after you submit declaration, please check Day after declaration .
