GENERAL INFORMATION

MICRO CLEAN CONCENTRATE is a combination water treatment, scale preventative and soil penetration aide. It is designed for use as both an additive to liquid fertilizer mixes to be applied through drip or micro-irrigation systems and as a stand alone system maintenance additive.

COMPATIBILITY

MICRO CLEAN CONCENTRATE is compatible with most common liquid fertilizer mixes. However, if the desired combination has not been previously used, a compatibility test is recommended.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Use in strict accordance with precautions, warnings and directions for use.

FOR LINE MAINTENANCE USES: Specific use rates will vary with water hardness. As a general rule a final concentration of 1 to 3 ppm is sufficient to prevent scale formation which can clog jets and

emitters. This is equivalent to 40 to 120 ounces per acre-foot of water being applied. The use of a chemical feed pump is recommended for continuous application. The actual rate will depend on the quality of water being used.

FOR ADDITION THROUGH LIQUID FERTILIZER INJECTION:

Fertilizer use rates vary widely. At a dilution rate of 1 gallon of fertilizer to 5000 gallons of water, 1 gallon of MICRO CLEAN CONCENTRATE per 100 gallons of fertilizer mix is recommended. Jar test before adding MICRO CLEAN CONCENTRATE to the fertilizer blend to ensure compatibility.

CLEANING FOULED SYSTEMS: High rates (5-10 ppm) on a continuous basis for 10 to 14 days have been shown effective in cleaning scaled systems. It is best to flush lines free of microbiological slimes before attempting to clean scale. Completely clogged emitters must be replaced. MICRO CLEAN CONCENTRATE works on the surface of the scale and causes a change in the scale's crystal structure to allow it to slough off and be flushed out of the system. Heavily scaled systems may require acid cleaning or replacement of scaled components.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

DO NOT CONTAMINATE WATER, FOOD OR FEED BY STORAGE OR DISPOSAL.

STORAGE: Store in original container away from children, foods and feeds. PRODUCT DISPOSAL: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility. CONTAINER DISPOSAL: Triple rinse (or equivalent) during mixing and loading. Recycling decontaminated containers is the best option of container disposal. The Agricultural Container Recycling Council (ACRC) operates the national recycling program.

To contact your state or local ACRC recycler, visit the ACRC web page at www.acrecycle.org. Decontaminated containers may also be disposed of in a sanitary landfill.
