Abstract

There is a limits to solve quality problems by statistical methods alone. Therefore, this paper pro­ poses the use of a QC as a means to improve quality problem analysis. The central theme developed in this study focuses on a decision supporting system as a guide foe the development of a QC circle sup­ porting system (non-synchronous) that utilizes a) an electronic meeting system, and b) test(s), to exa­ mine effectiveness.

The findings from the above show: (1) more rapid decision - making and reduced conference time i.e., PC (Personal Computer) conferences are shorter than FF (Face to Face) conferences; and, (2) this system is determined to be a fair and effective measure.
