of Social Work Practice in Social Work Education

Abstract: This study is to aim at clarifying an effective guidance regarding generic social work which the Japan Collage of Social Work has been highly valuing. The project members of this study have organized our efforts for education in terms of practice based on a societal background. We have also presented a current system of practice education here. We illustrate the reality and the issue on a guidance of practice which have been proved by a survey to field instructors and interviews to social work students. This study will extend to establish a new method in practice education including developing teaching materials.
