(8) Ⅴ 次の英文を読んで、後の設問に答えなさい。 What ideas do you have when you think of traveling? Do you imagine adventure someplace far away? Do you think of scenery and beautiful hotels? As for me, I want to go to places that most people do not know about. If the place is too easy to get to, then it will be crowded. I want adventure even if it is uncomfortable. I understand that some people don’t care how much money they spend. They want to see the main sights and stay in the best hotels. They believe that vacations are for relaxing. The schedule is planned in advance and never changes so they will know what to expect every hour of every day. These people will follow the same plan that other tourists do and take pictures next to famous sights. This is not exciting for me. I don’t want to be a tourist. I want to be a traveler. There are big differences between travelers and tourists. Travelers do not travel in groups and they do not plan every minute. A lot of the schedule is left open, so if something good happens they can follow that path. Travelers discover things and meet new people but tourists usually stay in their groups and only go where other tourists go. Of course, it is easier for travelers to make mistakes. There is no tour guide to take care of them and they might get lost or meet people that they should not. Still, I prefer the adventure of being a traveler. Getting lost is a part of the trip and if you keep your eyes open, you will always learn something new!. - 7-.
