In Japanese, Senrei means “delicate beauty” and Miyabi means “elegance”. Park Hyatt Kyoto has designed two event concepts inspired by these Japanese aesthetic ideals, bringing traditional ideas into a modern space to provide a personalized and sophisticated setting for all gatherings and celebrations.

Named after the unique beauty embedded into the very fabric of Kyoto’s rich culture and history, a “Miyabi” event provides a colorful and vibrant setting for any occasion.

The idea of “Senrei” is to emphasize the beauty each distinct season brings, in a subtle and sophisticated manner. True to the concept of serenity, “Senrei” takes a delicate and refined approach to event design.

KOMOREBI is a private 200 square meter space which can be divided into three separate multifunctional rooms. Whether hosting a large-scale celebration, an exhibition or a luxurious and intimate cocktail, our skillful events team will create a tailor-made experience, perfect to suit your every need.

The foyer is a spacious arrival area, perfect to serve welcome cocktails before events in KOMOREBI. There are also two private waiting rooms available.

Yasaka—Signature Restaurant

An unconventional approach to classic Japanese teppanyaki.

At Yasaka, Park Hyatt Kyoto’s signature restaurant, our team of classically trained, award winning chefs showcase various French inspired cooking techniques and preparation methods on the live cooking stage that is the Japanese “teppan,” or “steel plate.” Yasaka has two separate rooms with ten counter seats each, which can be booked for private use.

Designed to feel like home, this welcoming, naturally lit environment is the heart of the guesthouse. Set amidst the open fireplace and bar, the aroma of tamo wood lingers. Guests can enjoy a light meal or a several course afternoon tea menu served with a carefully selected tea pairing. タモの芳しい香りと安らぎを感じる暖炉やバーのある、肩の力を抜いて お寛ぎいただける空間は、まるでご自宅のリビングルームのような居心地 の良さを創り出します。彩り豊かなお食事や、日本産の茶葉にこだわり 厳選したティーペアリングと共にお楽しみいただくコース仕立ての アフタヌーンティーなどをご提供しております。

KYOTO BISTRO is a casual street side café located in the bustling heart of Higashiyama with a strong connection to the neighborhood and local community. The restaurant features Kyoto inspired international and Japanese comfort food crafted à la minute in a lively open kitchen. The second floor offers a range of private, multifunctional rooms and a show kitchen.

KYOYAMATO is a traditional ryotei and culinary institution serving authentic, seasonally inspired kaiseki cuisine that dates back to Japan’s Meiji era in 1877. The restaurant consists of several historic buildings including “Suikokan” a storied salon from the Edo era and a private room where feudal warlords would secretly meet. Executive Chef Masahito Atsuchi expertly prepares kaiseki cuisine as an extension of his innate philosophy consisting of the best ingredients of the seasonal harvest, beautifully presented and served in carefully selected bowls.

The culinary teams of KYOYAMATO and Park Hyatt Kyoto come together to create unique collaboration menus available in KOMOREBI.

Pagoda House & Terrace

The Pagoda House sits atop the property, embedded in the gentle slopes of the Higashiyama hills. As Park Hyatt Kyoto’s signature suite, the interior follows a design concept inspired by the mountains. The space is intimate, subtle and inviting , making it ideal for a private party or small gathering. The Terrace, located between Yasaka and Kohaku, boasts exquisite views of famed Yasaka Pagoda, Kyoto’s urban expanse, the dramatic sunset in the West and “Soyotei”, KYOYAMATO’s historic tea house, in the East, providing the perfect setting for a pre-dinner toast.

パゴダハウスは、パークハイアット京都のシグネチャースイートとして 135m2 の広さを誇り、東山の緑に囲まれたホテルの最上階に位置して います。東山の山麗よりインスパイアされたインテリアに包まれた空間 にて、心の底から安らぎを感じていただける雰囲気のなか、少人数での プライベートなパーティーやイベントを行うことが可能です。4階「八坂」 と「琥珀」の間にあるテラスでは、東側は山荘京大和の茶室「送陽亭」、 西側は八坂の塔、京都の市街を一望できる広大な景観が広がっており、 ドラマチックな 夕日をバックにイベ ント前のカクテルなどをお楽しみ いただくことができる最適なべニューをご用意しております。
