National socialists such as Ikki Kita cannot be ignored in the study of the relationship be-tween Japanese socialists and the Imperial Family. In this context, this paper will outline the common ground and differences in the thoughts of influential national socialists
in-cluding Kita and in their views on the Imperial Family.
