Call for Presentations

The Lake Taihu is located in the Yangtze River delta. By the rapid economical development of Yangtze River delta, environmental conditions of the Lake Taihu and surrounding water bodies have been drastically degraded in recent years. “The 2nd International Symposium on Aquatic Environment and Biodiversity Conservation in the Lake Taihu Basin” aims to provide the scientific knowledge and technologies for conservation of aquatic environment and biodiversity in the Lake Taihu basin.

Conference Topics:

(1) Water pollution in the Lake Taihu basin and restoration

(2) Conservation of aquatic biodiversity in the Lake Taihu basin

(3) The latest eco-engineering methods in Japan and Korea

In this symposium, the 9 speakers will have oral presentations about the topics above. We are calling for poster presentations about conservation of aquatic environment (less than A0 size). The deadline for submitting abstracts in English is November 12, 2010. Please submit your abstract electronically to the E-mail of the symposium secretariat below. After the receipt in your abstract, we will send a guideline for the proceedings of the symposium. We welcome your submission.
