ポイント：目的格

関係代名詞は２つの文を結びつける働きを持ち、名詞を後ろから説明する。目的格の関係代名詞は、先行詞の後ろに続く部分の目的語の働きをする。省略することも可能。

基本形は＜名詞（先行詞）＋関係代名詞 (who / that / which ) ＋主語＋動詞＞

ex. This is the pen ( that / which ) I bought today. 「これが私が今日買ったペンです。」

ex. The man ( that / who ) I met at the station today was kind. 「今日駅で私が会った男は親切だった。」

A.次の英語を日本語にしなさい。

1. This is the watch my father gave me last year. これは私の父が去年くれた腕時計です。

2. That is the picture that my brother took in Hokkaido. あれは私の兄が北海道で撮った写真です。

3. The people that I met at the camp were very interesting. 私がキャンプで出会った人たちはとても面白かった。

B. 次の２つの文を関係代名詞を使って、１つの文に書き換えなさい。

1. I know the girl. I saw her in the library.

2. My sister bought me a pen. This is the pen.

C. 日本語にあうように（）の語を並び替えて英文を作りなさい。

1. これがあなたが探している本ですか。( this / you / looking for / the book / is / are / ?) Is this the book you are looking for?

2. 私が買いたかった洋服は売り切れだった。( that / I / wanted to buy / the cloth / sold out / was / . ) The cloth that I wanted to buy was sold out.

3. あなたが失くした本は見つかりましたか。( you / lost / the book / found / have / you / that / ? ) Have you found the book that you lost?
