AnumberofjurisdicƟonshavenotyetbeenreviewedbytheFATF.TheFATFconƟnuestoidenƟfyaddiƟonaljurisdicƟons,on anonͲgoingbasis,thatposearisktotheinternaƟonalĮnancialsystem.
TheFATFandtheFATFͲstyleregionalbodies(FSRBs)willconƟnuetoworkwiththejurisdicƟonsnotedbelowandtoreport ontheprogressmadeinaddressingtheidenƟĮeddeĮciencies.TheFATFcallsonthesejurisdicƟonstocompletethe implementaƟonofacƟonplansexpediƟouslyandwithintheproposedƟmeframes.TheFATFwillcloselymonitorthe implementaƟonoftheseacƟonplansandencouragesitsmemberstoconsidertheinformaƟonpresentedbelow.

InOctober2013,IraqmadeahighͲlevelpoliƟcalcommitmenttoworkwiththeFATFandMENAFATFtoaddressitsstrategic AML/CFTdeĮciencies.SinceOctober2016,IraqhastakenstepstowardsimprovingitsAML/CFTregime.IraqshouldconƟnue toimplementitsacƟonplantoaddressitsremainingdeĮciencies,includingby:(1)conƟnueimplemenƟngthelegal
frameworkandappropriateproceduresforidenƟfyingandfreezingterroristassets;(2)ensuringthatallĮnancialinsƟtuƟons aresubjecttoadequatecustomerduediligencerequirements;(3)ensuringthatallĮnancialinsƟtuƟonsaresubjectto adequatesuspicioustransacƟonreporƟngrequirements;and(4)establishingandimplemenƟnganadequateAML/CFT supervisoryandoversightprogrammeforallĮnancialsectors.TheFATFencouragesIraqtoconƟnueimplemenƟngitsacƟon plantoaddressitsremainingAML/CFTdeĮciencies.
