I n January 2000, Count y Council, Cit y Council, and Wat er Dist rict 10 Com m issioners ( now Lake What com Wat er and Sewer Dist rict ) adopt ed t he Lake What com Reservoir
Managem ent Program 2000- 2004 Work Plan. The five- year w ork plan out lined t asks under t en program areas. Three program areas were ident ified as high priorit y: wat ershed ownership, st orm wat er m anagem ent , and urbanizat ion/ land developm ent . I n addit ion, t hree priorit y wat er qualit y concerns w ere ident ified: nut rient s, fecal coliform bact eria, and ot her pollut ant s ( i.e. pest icides, m et als) .
Over t he past five years, t his work plan guided t he m anagem ent act ivit ies in t he wat ershed. Following is a condensed sum m ary of accom plishm ent s t hrough t his five- year work plan. The sum m ary is organized by Program Area and Task as out lined in t he 2000- 2004 Work Plan.
