input

tools. The register values are used for the tool length and toolnose radius compensationin
the CNC program. The same registers may beutilized by
botr the G41lG42 cufter radius compensation and the Gtl!)/G44 cutter length offset. The registers are preset to common values, but
they may be altered.Refer to Chapters 5 and 5 for detailed explanations of
how
the offsetswork.
Move the cursor to the desired regrster, thenpress Enter.
Adisplay prompt

the CNC files are to be saved. To save to a floppy disk, type either A or B (depending on your systems configuration). To save to the hard disk, type the appropriatedrive
letter,for
example, C. For network drives, type the letter of thenetwork
drive,for
example,H.
CH-DIREC Changes the current user directory
without
your having to leave the user interface, for example,C:\CNCM\DEMOMILL
to A:\PROGRAIvIS.FITETYPE Allows you to input different types of CNC files simply by
danging
