■Microsoft LAN Manager Setup

「OK」を選択して、進みます。

Setup configures your computer for use with LAN Manager

Windows NT, and Windows for Workgroups networks. Before you begin LAN Manager installation, determine the following:

* The network adapter installed in the computer

* The settings used on that adapter (for example, the interrupt and the memory address)

* The name of the network protocol(s) to be used on the computer (for example, NetBEUI)

■ Using the Keyboard in Setup

「OK」を選択して、進みます。

You can use both the mouse and the keyboard in Using the Keyboard in Setup

Setup. When using the keyboard ;

* Use Enter to invoke the selected command button.

(<OK> is usually the default selection.)

* Use ESC to return without change to the previous dialog box or condition. This is equivalent to

choosing the <Cancel> button.

* Use TAB to move to the next field in a dialog

box. Use SHIFT+TAB to move to the previous field.

For more detailed information choose <Help>, press F1, or see the installation guide for your client

software.

■Install LAN Manager

「TAB」キーで移動して、デフォルトのまま「OK」を選択します。

※ 環境によっては、画面が出ない場合があります。

The PATH defined in C:¥AUTOEXEC.BAT may be too long to allow adding the LAN Manager programs directory.

MS-DOS limits PATH to 127 characters. If you are unsure whether there is enough room, exit Setup and check

C:¥AUTOEXE.BAT. Continue the installation only if you are sure PATH is OK.

「LAN Manager Basic」を選択して「OK」を選択して、進みます。

■ Insert Disk

DISK2に変更して「OK」を選択して、進みます。

If you choose Yes, Setup will modify your

configuration files (LANMAN.INI, AUTOEXEC.BAT, and CONFIG.SYS) to place as much LAN Manager software as possible outside of conventional memory, leaving more room for applications. Note that Setup will not modify memory manager parameters that you may have set.
