○ In the first research, a proposed simplified model of corona discharge for the FDTD computations will be applied to analyze lightning induced voltages of distribution line for the case of lightning strikes to nearby tall objects such as buildings or trees.
○ The aim of the second research is to develop soil-ionization proposed model using FDTD method for analysis of soil ionization effects in different types of ground grids by the application of lightning currents. Based on the computing results, the effects of soil-ionization on voltage at the current injection point will be examined.
