平成３０年 度公益財 団法人天 野工業技 術研究 所奨学金 募 集要項
１．趣旨及び 目 的
本奨学金は、公益財 団法人 天 野工業 技 術研究 所 の 寄附に よ り、 平 成 ３ ０ 年 に 豊 橋技 術 科学 大 学 大学院工学研究科 博 士後 期課 程 第 １年次 に 入学を 許 可され た 優秀 な 学 生 に対 し 博 士後 期 課程 修 了 までの ３年間奨 学支 援を 行う こと を目的 と する 。
２．申請資格
本奨学金を申請でき る者は ， 次の各 号 に該当 す る者で ， 指導 教 員 か ら推 薦 のあ っ た 者 とす る。
(1) 平成３０ 年 度 に大 学院 博士 後期 課程 第 １年 次 に入学 を 許可 さ れ た 者 又 は 受 験予 定 の者 で 本 学博士後 期課 程 学 位を 取得 しよ うと す る者
(2) 心 身 と も に 健 康 で ， 学術 優秀な者
３．採用人員 若干 名
４．申請手続
本奨学金を希望する 者は， 次 の書類 を 国際課 留 学生係 に 提 出す る 。 ・申請書 （様 式１ ）
・推薦書 （様 式２ ） ・研究計画書 （様 式３ ）
・成績証明書 （博 士前 期課 程の もの ）
５．受給者の選考方法
書類審査により選 考する も のとす る 。
６．支給額
月額 １ ２５ ，０ ００ 円
（渡日及び帰国旅 費、検 定 料、入 学 料、授 業 料の支 給 はあ り ま せ ん。 ）
７．支給期間等
受給決定後， 博 士後 期 課程 修 了まで の ３年間 支 給する （ 標準 修 業 年限 ） 。
８．奨学金の返還及び 停止
奨学金受給者が，奨学 金を 受給 後に 次の各号 の 一に該 当 し たと き 又は そ の 恐 れの あ ると き は，
奨学金の一部若しく は全額 の 返還を 命 ずるこ と がある 。 (1) 休 学又 は退 学を 申し 出た 場合
(2) 本 学学 則第 ５７ 条に よる 懲戒 処分 に 該当す る ことと な っ た場 合 (3) 受 給期 間満 了前 に研 究が 終了 した 場 合又は 中 断，停 止 し た場 合
９．その他
奨学金の受給者は ，受給 開 始後， １ 年毎に 学 長に研 究 活動 報 告 書 を提 出 し 、 受給 期 間終 了 時 に研究成果報告書 を提出 す ること 。

2018 Guidelines for Applicants to Amano Institute of Technology Scholarship
1. Purport and Purpose
This scholarship aims at supporting through the scholarship an outstanding student who has been admitted to enroll in the first year of a doctoral program in the Graduate School of Engineering of Toyohashi University of Technology in 2018, for three (3) years up until the completion of the doctoral program, by means of donations from Amano Institute of Technology.
2. Qualification for Applicants
Those who can apply for this scholarship shall be a person falling under the scope of the following respective items and recommendations by his/her advisor.
(1) Those who have been admitted to enroll in or apply for the first year of a doctoral program in the Graduate School in 2018, and seek to obtain a doctoral degree from this University; and
(2) Those who are healthy in mind and body, and excellent in academic achievements.
3. Number of People to Whom this Scholarship is Awarded several persons
4. Application Procedures
In order to apply for this scholarship, submit the following documents to the President of this University.
- Application (Form 1)
- Letter of recommendation (Form 2) - Research plan (Form 3)
- Academic transcript (Master’s program transcripts)
5. Method of Selecting a Recipient
Selection shall be made by document examination.
6. Amount of Scholarship to be Granted 125,000 Japanese yen/month
(Travel expenses to come to Japan and return to applicant’s own country,
examination fee, admission fee and tuition are not granted.)
7. Scholarship Grant Period, etc.
Three (3) years after grant decision up until completion of the doctoral program (standard course of study).
8. Return of, and Discontinuance of Scholarship
In the event that the scholarship recipient falls under or is likely to fall under any one of the following respective items after receipt of scholarship, the recipient may be ordered to return a part or all of the scholarship received.
(1) If the recipient applies for a leave of absence or withdrawal from school;
(2) If it stands to reason that the recipient falls under the scope of disciplinary actions under Article 57 of the School Regulations of this University; or
(3) If the research is completed, suspended or discontinued prior to the expiration of the scholarship receiving period.
9. Miscellaneous
The scholarship recipient submits a research activity report to the President every year after the start of receiving the scholarship, and submits a research results report to the President at the end of the scholarship receiving period.
