Reflex® Herbicide

For Control of Weeds in Dry Beans

EPA Reg. No. 100-993 EPA SLN No. KS-170002

This label expires and must not be distributed or used in accordance with this SLN registration after December 31, 2022

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

• This label must be in the possession of the user at the time of application.

• Follow all applicable directions, restrictions, Worker Protection Standard requirements, and precautions on the EPA-registered label.

Note: This Reflex Herbicide Section 24(c) label for dry beans may be used in all Kansas counties where dry beans are grown under sprinkler or center pivot irrigation.

Apply Reflex Herbicide as a postemergent broadcast application for control or suppression of weeds listed on the federal label. Apply when dry beans have at least one fully expanded trifoliate leaf. Reflex application rate depends on weed species and growth stage, but do not exceed 1 pt/A. Refer to the Spray Additive Section on the federal label for recommended spray additives. Use of crop oil concentrate as an additive can improve weed control but may reduce crop tolerance. Do not use liquid nitrogen (28% or similar) or ammonium sulfate as an additive due to potential crop injury. Use a spray volume of 10-20 GPA by ground application and a minimum of 5 GPA by aerial application.

Tank Mix and Sequential Applications

Reflex Herbicide can be used sequentially or in tank mix with the following products: Assure II®, Basagran®, Dual Magnum®, Eptam®, Fusilade® DX, Poast®, Prowl®, Pursuit®, Raptor®, Select®, Sonalan®, or Treflan®.

Under certain conditions, the mixture of Reflex Herbicide with one or more of the above

mentioned broadleaf herbicides may cause a reduction in activity of any postemergence grass herbicide in the mixture.

For sequential applications allow 2-3 days after the application of the grass herbicide before applying Reflex or Reflex mixtures. Where Reflex or the Reflex mixture is applied first, apply the grass herbicide when the grass weeds begin to develop new leaves (generally around 7 days).

Note: Tank mix applications can result in increased crop injury as compared to either product used alone.

Rotational Crops

The following rotational crops may be planted after applying Reflex following the directions for use outlined in this 24(c) label:

Rotational Crop

Minimum Rotational Interval after Reflex Application (Months)

Cotton, dry beans, snap beans, soybeans,

potatoes 0

Wheat 4*

All other crops not listed 18**

* A successful field bioassay (refer to FIELD BIOASSAY INSTRUCTIONS section) must be performed before planting wheat.

** A successful field bioassay (refer to FIELD BIOASSAY INSTRUCTIONS section) must be performed before planting other rotational crops not listed in the table above.

Field Bioassay Instructions

Plant several strips of the desired crop variety across the field which has been previously treated with Reflex. Plant the strips perpendicular to the direction Reflex was applied. The strips should be located so that all the different field conditions are encountered, including differences in soil texture, organic matter, pH, and drainage. If the crop does not show visible symptoms of injury and/or stand reduction, this field can be planted to this crop. If visible injury and/or stand reduction occur, do not plant the field to this crop; plant only a labeled crop.

Chemigation

Do not apply this product through any type of irrigation system.

Restrictions

• Reflex Herbicide use under this Section 24(c) label can only be applied to dry beans that are grown under sprinkler or center pivot irrigation

• Do not apply Reflex Herbicide on dry beans that are not grown under irrigation or are furrow irrigated.

• Do not graze animals on green forage or stubble.

• Do not utilize hay or straw for animal feed or bedding.

• Do not apply within 45 days of harvest.
