20 ñåíòÿáðÿ, ïîíåäåëüíèê

Äîïîëíèòåëüíàÿ èíôîðìàöèÿ äëÿ ó÷àñòíèêîâ

Êîëëîêâèóì áóäåò ïðîõîäèòü ñîâìåñòíî ñî II Ñèìïîçèóìîì ñòðàí ÑÍà ïî ïåðåïîí÷àòîêðûëûì íàñåêîìûì, êîòîðûé ñîñòîèòñÿ â Ñàíêò-Ïåòåðáóðãå ñ 13 ïî 17 ñåíòÿáðÿ 2010 ã. Ïîýòîìó òåçèñû äîêëàäîâ, ïðåäñòàâëåííûõ íà Êîëëîêâèóìå è Ñèìïîçèóìå, îïóáëèêîâàíû â ñîâìåñòíîì ñáîðíèêå. Òåçèñû íåêîòîðûõ äîêëàäîâ, ïî ðàçëè÷íûì ïðè÷èíàì íå âîøåäøèå â ýòîò ñáîðíèê, îïóáëèêîâàíû íèæå (ñ. 36–47). Âðåìÿ, îòâåäåííîå äëÿ êàæäîãî äîêëàä÷èêà, âêëþ÷àåò òàêæå âîïðîñû è îáñóæäåíèå äîêëàäà. Ïî æåëàíèþ ó÷àñòíèêîâ Êîëëîêâèóìà âîçìîæíî ïðåäñòàâëåíèå ñòåíäîâûõ äîêëàäîâ âìåñòî óñòíûõ. Êîëëîêâèóì áóäåò ïðîõîäèòü âíå ãîðîäà – íà çàãîðîäíîé ó÷åáíî-íàó÷íîé áàçå Ñàíêò-Ïåòåðáóðãñêîãî ãîñóäàðñòâåííîãî óíèâåðñèòåòà “Ñâèðñêàÿ”. Áàçà “Ñâèðñêàÿ” ðàñïîëîæåíà â äåðåâíå Çàîñòðîâüå Ëîäåéíîïîëüñêîãî ðàéîíà Ëåíèíãðàäñêîé îáëàñòè â æèâîïèñíîì ìåñòå íà áåðåãó ðåêè Øàìîêøè, ëåâîãî ïðèòîêà  ðåêè Ñâèðü, íàïðîòèâ Íèæíå-Ñâèðñêîãî ãîñóäàðñòâåííîãî çàïîâåäíèêà. Íà òåððèòîðèè áàçû èìåþòñÿ òðè æèëûõ êîðïóñà îáùåé âìåñòèìîñòüþ äî 80 ÷åëîâåê– îäèí äëÿ ïðåïîäàâàòåëåé è äâà äëÿ ñòóäåíòîâ, êîìôîðòàáåëü-íàÿ ñòîëîâàÿ, êîòîðàÿ òàêæå èñïîëüçóåòñÿ è êàê êîíôåðåíö-çàë.  ðàñïîðÿæå-íèè ïðåïîäàâàòåëåé è ñòóäåíòîâ èìåþòñÿ áèáëèîòåêà è íåîáõîäèìîå îáîðóäîâàíèå: áèíîêëè, ãåðáàðíûå ñåòêè, áèíîêóëÿðû, ëóïû, ñà÷êè è ïðî÷åå. Îêðåñòíîñòè áàçû ïðåäñòàâëÿþò ñîáîé òèïè÷íûå äëÿ Ïðèëàäîæüÿ ïðèðîäíûå êîìïëåêñû Åâðîïåéñêîé þæíîé òàéãè ñ áîãàòûì ðàçíîîáðàçèåì áîëîò ðàçëè÷íûõ òèïîâ õàðàêòåðíûõ äëÿ þãî-âîñòî÷íîãî áåðåãà Ëàäîæñêîãî îçåðà. Ðàñòèòåëüíûå è æèâîòíûå ñîîáùåñòâà â ýòèõ ìåñòàõ áîãàòû âèäàìè õàðàêòåðíûìè äëÿ ñåâåðî-âîñòîêà Ëåíèíãðàäñêîé îáëàñòè. Çäåñü âñòðå÷àþò-ñÿ òàêæå ðåäêèå è ìàëî÷èñëåííûå âèäû. Ïî÷òè åäèíñòâåííàÿ õîçÿéñòâåííàÿ äåÿòåëüíîñòü ÷åëîâåêà, êîòîðàÿ äî ñèõ ïîð îñóùåñòâëÿåòñÿ íà òåððèòîðèÿõ, îêðóæàþùèõ áàçó, ýòî ðóáêà ëåñà. Âûðóáêè, ÿâëÿþùèåñÿ, íåñîìíåííî, îòðèöàòåëüíûì ÿâëåíèåì ñ ýêîëîãè÷åñêîé òî÷êè çðåíèÿ, òåì íå ìåíåå, ïðåäñòàâëÿþò ñîáîé îáúåêò íà ïðèìåðå, êîòîðîãî ìîæíî íàãëÿäíî ïðîäåìîíñòðè-ðîâàòü ñòóäåíòàì ìíîãèå áèîëîãè÷åñêèå çàêîíîìåðíîñòè. Âîäíûå êîìïëåêñû ðåê Øàìîêøà è Ñâèðü äîïîëíÿþòñÿ îáøèðíûìè çàëèâíûìè ëóãàìè è èñêóññòâåííûìè âîäîåìàìè â äåëüòå ðåêè Øàìîêøà. Íà ýòèõ ó÷àñòêàõ âî âðåìÿ ýêñêóðñèé ìîæíî âñòðåòèòü ìíîãî÷èñëåííûå âèäû âîäíûõ è îêîëîâîä-íûõ ïîçâîíî÷îêîëîâîä-íûõ æèâîòîêîëîâîä-íûõ, íàïðèìåð, áîáðîâ.

Ñîçäàíèå Ñåêöèè

Ðîññèéñêàÿ ñåêöèÿ Ìåæäóíàðîäíîãî ñîþçà èññëåäîâàòåëåé îáùåñòâåí-íûõ íàñåêîìûõ (Russian Language Section of the International Union for the Study of Social Insects) áûëà ïåðâîíà÷àëüíî ñîçäàíà êàê Ñåêöèÿ îáùåñòâåí-íûõ íàñåêîìûõ (ÑÎÍ) Âñåñîþçíîãî ýíòîìîëîãè÷åñêîãî îáùåñòâà (ÂÝÎ).  àïðåëå 1989 ãîäà ïî èíèöèàòèâå Â. Å. Êèïÿòêîâà Ïðåçèäèóì ÂÝÎ ïðèíÿë ðåøåíèå î ñîçäàíèè â îáùåñòâå ñåêöèè îáùåñòâåííûõ íàñåêîìûõ è âêëþ-÷åíèè å¸ â ïîâåñòêó äíÿ î÷åðåäíîãî X Ñúåçäà ÂÝÎ, êîòîðûé äîëæåí áûë ñîñòîÿòüñÿ â ñåíòÿáðå 1989 ã. â Ëåíèíãðàäå. Îäíàêî, ýòî åùå áûëà íå îðãà-íèçîâàííàÿ íàó÷íàÿ ãðóïïà, à ôàêòè÷åñêè ïðîñòî ðàçäåë â ïðîãðàììå ñúåçäà. Èäåÿ î ñîçäàíèè ñåêöèè, êàê îðãàíèçîâàííîé è îôîðìëåííîé ãðóïïû âíóòðè ÂÝÎ, ñ ïåðñîíàëüíûì ÷ëåíñòâîì, áûëà îçâó÷åíà Â. Å. Êèïÿòêîâûì íà çàñåäàíèè ñåêöèè îáùåñòâåííûõ íàñåêîìûõ, ñîñòîÿâøåìñÿ íà X Ñúåçäå ÂÝÎ. Ìíîãèå ó÷àñòíèêè çàñåäàíèÿ ïîääåðæàëè ýòó èäåþ, çàïîëíèâ ïðåä-ëîæåííóþ èì àíêåòó ÷ëåíà Ñåêöèè. Ïîñëå îêîí÷àíèÿ ñúåçäà ñïèñîê ÷ëåíîâ Ñåêöèè âêëþ÷àë âñåãî ëèøü 11 ÷åëîâåê. Îäíàêî áîëüøàÿ îðãàíèçàöèîííàÿ ðàáîòà, ïðîâåäåííàÿ Â. Å. Êèïÿòêîâûì è Å. Á. Ëîïàòèíîé â êîíöå 1989 – íà÷àëå 1990 ãã., ïîçâîëèëà ê âåñíå 1990 ã. ïðèâëå÷ü â ÑÎÍ áîëåå 40 íîâûõ ÷ëåíîâ è â òîì æå ãîäó ïðîâåñòè ïåðâîå íàó÷íîå ìåðîïðèÿòèå Ñåêöèè. Ïåðâûé êîëëîêâèóì Ñåêöèè ñîñòîÿëñÿ â Ëåíèíãðàäå ñî 2 ïî 8 îêòÿáðÿ 1990 ã.  íåì ïðèíÿëè ó÷àñòèå 45 ñïåöèàëèñòîâ èç 7 ðåñïóáëèê ÑÑÑÐ. Êîëëîêâèóì ôîðìàëüíî ïîäòâåðäèë ñîçäàíèå Ñåêöèè îáùåñòâåííûõ íàñå-êîìûõ (ÑÎÍ) ÂÝÎ, êàê íàó÷íîãî ñîîáùåñòâà ñ ïåðñîíàëüíî îôîðìëåííûì ÷ëåíñòâîì, à âñå åãî ó÷àñòíèêè ñòàëè ÷ëåíàìè-îñíîâàòåëÿìè ÑÎÍ (ñì. ñïèñîê ó÷àñòíèêîâ íà ñ. 19). Òàêèì îáðàçîì, â 2010 ãîäó èñïîëíÿåòñÿ 20 ëåò ñî äíÿ ñîçäàíèÿ Ñåêöèè. Ìíîãèå ÷ëåíû-îñíîâàòåëè Ñåêöèè ïîìíÿò, ÷òî ïåðâûé êîëëîêâèóì ïðî-õîäèë âíå ãîðîäà, â ïèîíåðñêîì ëàãåðå Ëåíèíãðàäñêîãî óíèâåðñèòåòà (ñì. ðèñ. 11), ðàñïîëîæåííîì â æèâîïèñíîì óãîëêå Êàðåëüñêîãî ïåðåøåéêà. Íà êîëëîêâèóìå áûë èçáðàí Êîîðäèíàöèîííûé ñîâåò Ñåêöèè – Ïðåäñåäàòåëü (Â. Å. Êèïÿòêîâ), Ñåêðåòàðü (Å. Á. Ëîïàòèíà) è 7 ÷ëåíîâ (Â. Á. Áåéêî, Í. Ð.

Áîãàòûð¸â, À. Ä. Êîìèññàð, Í. È. Êðèâöîâ, À. Ã. Ðàä÷åíêî, Æ. È. Ðåçíèêîâà è Ê. Ñ. Øàòîâ). Ìàòåðèàëû ïåðâîãî êîëëîêâèóìà (37 êîðîòêèõ ñòàòåé ñ àíãëèéñêèìè ðåçþìå; âñåãî 215 ñòð.) áûëè îïóáëèêîâàíû áëàãîäàðÿ ñîäåé-ñòâèþ ÷ëåíà Ñåêöèè À. À. Îäèíöà â Ìîñêâå 1991 ã. (ðèñ. 4; ñîäåðæàíèå ñáîðíèêà ñì. íà ñ. 23).  1991 ã. Êîîðäèíàöèîííûé ñîâåò âñòóïèë â êîíòàêò ñ ðóêîâîäñòâîì IUSSI, êîòîðîå â òî âðåìÿ ïðåäñòàâëÿëè Ãåíåðàëüíûé ñåêðåòàðü Dr. Hayo H. W. Velthuis (Íèäåðëàíäû) è Ïðåçèäåíò Prof. PiPrre Jaisson (Ôðàíöèÿ). Öåëüþ ïåðåãîâîðîâ áûëî âñòóïëåíèå íàøåé Ñåêöèè â ñîñòàâ ýòîãî ìåæäóíàðîäíî-ãî ñîþçà. Çäåñü ñëåäóåò ñêàçàòü, ÷òî èìåííî òàêîå íàïðàâëåíèå ðàçâèòèÿ ìû èìåëè â âèäó óæå âî âðåìÿ îðãàíèçàöèè ÑÎÍ ÂÝÎ. Îäíàêî èçìåíåíèå ïîëè-òè÷åñêîé ñèòóàöèè â ÑÑÑÐ ñäåëàëî äîñòèæåíèå ýòîé öåëè ðåàëüíûì òîëüêî â êîíöå 1991 ãîäà. Ðèñóíîê 1. Çíà÷îê ó÷àñòíèêà Ïåðâîãî êîëëîêâèóìà Ñåêöèè îáùåñòâåííûõ íàñåêîìûõ Âñåñîþçíîãî ýíòîìîëîãè÷åñêîãî îáùåñòâà, ñîñòîÿâøåãîñÿ â îêòÿáðå 1990 ãîäà â Ëåíèíãðàäå. Îáðàùåíèå Êîîðäèíàöèîííîãî ñîâåòà â IUSSI âñòðåòèëî ïîëíîå ïîíè-ìàíèå ñî ñòîðîíû ðóêîâîäñòâà è îòäåëüíûõ ÷ëåíîâ ñîþçà è óæå â 1992 ã. Ñåêöèÿ áûëà âêëþ÷åíà â IUSSI íà ïðàâàõ “Russian-speaking Section in formation”. Òåïåðü ñëåäîâàëî îæèäàòü îôèöèàëüíîãî óòâåðæäåíèÿ ñòàòóñà íàøåé Ñåêöèè Ãåíåðàëüíîé Àññàìáëååé IUSSI, êîòîðàÿ ñîáèðàåòñÿ íà êàæäîì êîíãðåññå ñîþçà. Î÷åðåäíîé XII Êîíãðåññ IUSSI äîëæåí áûë ñîñòîÿòüñÿ â Ïàðèæå â 1994 ã. Åñòåñòâåííî, ÷òî ìû ïîëó÷èëè ïðèãëàøåíèå â íåì ó÷àñòâîâàòü. Îäíàêî, ñäåëàòü ýòî áûëî íåïðîñòî â ñâÿçè ñ

íåïðåîäîëèìû-ìè ôèíàíñîâûíåïðåîäîëèìû-ìè ïðîáëåìàíåïðåîäîëèìû-ìè â ñòðàíàõ áûâøåãî ÑÑÑÐ. Âîçìîæíîñòü ó÷à-ñòèÿ â êîíãðåññå âîçíèêëà áëàãîäàðÿ ùåäðîé ôèíàíñîâîé ïîìîùè íåäàâíî ñîçäàííîãî Äæ. Ñîðîñîì Ìåæäóíàðîäíîãî íàó÷íîãî ôîíäà (International Science Foundation) è Îðãàíèçàöèîííîãî êîìèòåòà XII Êîíãðåññà IUSSI, êîòîðûé îïëàòèë áîëåå ïîëîâèíû íàøèõ çàòðàò íà ïðîæèâàíèå. Èòàê, ïîñëå äëèòåëüíûõ ïåðåãîâîðîâ è óëàæèâàíèÿ âñåâîçìîæíûõ ôîð-ìàëüíîñòåé äåëåãàöèÿ îò íàøåé Ñåêöèè ïîëó÷èëà âîçìîæíîñòü ó÷àñòâîâàòü â ðàáîòå Êîíãðåññà.  åå ñîñòàâå áûëî 10 ÷åëîâåê: Ã. Àðàêåëÿí (Åðåâàí), Í. Ð. Áîãàòûðåâ (Íîâîñèáèðñê), Ò. Ì. Åôèìåíêî (Êèåâ), Â. Ì. Êàðöåâ (Ìîñêâà), Â. Å. Êèïÿòêîâ Ïåòåðáóðã), Å. Á. Ëîïàòèíà (Ñàíêò-Ïåòåðáóðã), Ä. Ñ. Ìàëûøåâ (Ñàíêò-(Ñàíêò-Ïåòåðáóðã), À. Ã. Ðàä÷åíêî (Êèåâ), Â. Ã. Ðàä÷åíêî (Äîíåöê) è Ë. Þ. Ðóñèíà (Õåðñîí). Äëÿ áîëüøèíñòâà äåëåãàòîâ ýòî áûëà ïåðâàÿ â èõ æèçíè ïîåçäêà çà ãðàíèöû áûâøåãî ÑÑÑÐ. XII Êîíãðåññ IUSSI ïðîõîäèë ñ 21 ïî 27 àâãóñòà 1994 ã. â öåíòðå Ïàðèæà, â ñòåíàõ Ñîðáîííû – ñòàðåéøåãî óíèâåðñèòåòà Ôðàíöèè. Îí ñîáðàë áîëåå 1000 ó÷åíûõ, ïðèáûâøèõ èç äåñÿòêîâ ñòðàí ñî âñåõ êîíòèíåíòîâ. Áåç âñÿêîãî ñîìíåíèÿ, ýòà çàðóáåæíàÿ ïîåçäêà è ó÷àñòèå â Êîíãðåññå IUSSI îñòàâèëà ó âñåõ äåëåãàòîâ íåçàáûâàåìûå âïå÷àòëåíèÿ. Êðîìå òîãî, ìíîãèì îíà ïîç-âîëèëà çàâÿçàòü ëè÷íûå êîíòàêòû ñ çàðóáåæíûìè ó÷åíûìè, èç êîòîðûõ â áóäóùåì “âûðîñëè” ñîâìåñòíûå íàó÷íûå ïðîåêòû, ãðàíòû, ïóáëèêàöèè è ñîâåðøåííî íîâûå âîçìîæíîñòè. Òàêèì îáðàçîì â àâãóñòå 1994 ã. â Ïàðèæå Ãåíåðàëüíàÿ Àññàìáëåÿ IUSSI îôèöèàëüíî ïðèíÿëà íàøó Ñåêöèþ â IUSSI êàê åãî ðåãèîíàëüíîå ïîäðàçäåëå-íèå – Russian Language Section. Ñ ýòîãî âðåìåíè âñòóïëåïîäðàçäåëå-íèå â Ðîññèéñêóþ Ñåêöèþ îçíà÷àåò îäíîâðåìåííîå ïðèîáðåòåíèå ïîëíîïðàâíîãî ÷ëåíñòâà â IUSSI. Ñ âûõîäîì íà ìåæäóíàðîäíóþ àðåíó íà÷àëñÿ íîâûé ïåðèîä â æèçíè Ñåêöèè.

Íåêîòîðîå âðåìÿ Ñåêöèÿ òàêæå ñîõðàíÿëà è ñâîþ ïðèíàäëåæíîñòü ê Ðóññêîìó ýíòîìîëîãè÷åñêîìó îáùåñòâó. Îäíàêî, íà XI Ñúåçäå ÐÝÎ â 1997 ã. áûë ïðèíÿò íîâûé óñòàâ îáùåñòâà, íå ïðåäóñìàòðèâàþùèé íàëè÷èå â íåì ñåêöèé è ïîäðàçäåëåíèé. Îñòàëèñü òîëüêî “ñåêöèè îáùåñòâåííûõ íàñåêî-ìûõ” â ïðîãðàììàõ ñúåçäîâ ÐÝÎ. Íà ýòîì “äâîéíàÿ æèçíü” íàøåé Ñåêöèè çàêîí÷èëàñü: ìû ïåðåñòàëè áûòü ïîäðàçäåëåíèåì ÐÝÎ, íî ñîõðàíèëè ñâîþ ïðèíàäëåæíîñòü ê IUSSI. Ïîñëå âñòóïëåíèÿ â IUSSI, íà òðåòüåì êîëëîêâèóìå â îêòÿáðå 1994 ã. â Êèåâå áûë èçáðàí íîâûé Êîîðäèíàöèîííûé ñîâåò Ñåêöèè â ñîñòàâå 7 ÷åëîâåê: Ì. Â. Áåðåçèí, Í. Ð. Áîãàòûð¸â, Â. Ì. Êàðöåâ, Â. Å. Êèïÿòêîâ (Ïðåçèäåíò), À. Ä. Êîìèññàð, Å. Á. Ëîïàòèíà (Ñåêðåòàðü), À. Ã. Ðàä÷åíêî. Ñ òåõ ïîð ñîñòàâ Êîîðäèíàöèîííîãî ñîâåòà íå èçìåíÿëñÿ.  1989–1990 ãã. â ÑÎÍ ÂÝÎ âñòóïèëî áîëåå 70 ÷åëîâåê (ðèñ. 3). Ìíîãèå èç íèõ â äàëüíåéøåì îòîøëè îò íàó÷íîé äåÿòåëüíîñòè, äðóãèå ïðåêðàòèëè êîíòàêòû ñ Ñåêöèåé, íåêîòîðûå óìåðëè. Îäíàêî, â Ñåêöèè ðåãóëÿðíî ïîÿâ-ëÿëèñü íîâûå ÷ëåíû, è â ðåçóëüòàòå å¸ ÷èñëåííûé ñîñòàâ èçìåíÿëñÿ î÷åíü íåçíà÷èòåëüíî – îò 40 äî 60 ÷åëîâåê (ðèñ. 3; ñì. ñîâðåìåííûé ñïèñîê ÷ëåíîâ Ñåêöèè íà ñ. 31).  ïåðâûå ãîäû â ñîñòàâ ÑÎÍ ïðèíèìàëè òîëüêî ÷ëåíîâ ÐÝÎ. Íî âïîñëåäñòâèè ìû îòîøëè îò ýòîé ïðàêòèêè, îñîáåííî ïîñëå òîãî, êàê Ñåêöèÿ áûëà ïðèíÿòà â ñîñòàâ IUSSI. Ðèñóíîê 3. Íàó÷íûå ìåðîïðèÿòèÿ è ïóáëèêàöèè Ñåêöèè

Íà÷èíàÿ ñî âòîðîãî êîëëîêâèóìà, áëàãîäàðÿ ïðîèñõîäèâøèì â Ðîññèè è ñòðàíàõ ÑÍà ïðîöåññàì ïåðåñòðîéêè è äåìîêðàòèçàöèè, íàó÷íûå ìåðîïðèÿ-òèÿ Ñåêöèè ïðèîáðåëè ìåæäóíàðîäíûé õàðàêòåð (ðèñ. 6). Âòîðîé êîëëîêâè-óì ïðîøåë â Èíñòèòóòå ï÷åëîâîäñòâà â ã. Ðûáíîå Ðÿçàíñêîé îáëàñòè ñ 21 ïî 27 ñåíòÿáðÿ 1992 ã. Ñðåäè 42 åãî ó÷àñòíèêîâ âïåðâûå â èñòîðèè Ñåêöèè áûëî ÷åòâåðî çàðóáåæíûõ êîëëåã – Dr. Johan Billen (Belgium), Dr. Graham W. Elmes (UK), Dr. Jhrgen Heinze (Germany) è Diethe Ortius (Germany). Ìàòåðèàëû êîëëîêâèóìà áûëè îïóáëèêîâàíû â 1993 ã. â ñáîðíèêå ïîä íàçâàíèåì “Ìàòåðèàëû êîëëîêâèóìîâ ïî îáùåñòâåííûì íàñåêîìûì, ò. 2” (Proceedings of the Colloquia on Social Insects, Vol. 2). Ñáîðíèê ñìîã óâèäåòü ñâåò áëàãîäàðÿ ôèíàíñîâîé ïîìîùè êîëëåã èç IUSSI. Îí ñîäåðæèò 10 ñòàòåé íà àíãëèéñêîì è 17 ñòàòåé íà ðóññêîì ÿçûêàõ (ñîäåðæàíèå ñì. íà ñ. 24) .1

Òðåòèé êîëëîêâèóì Ñåêöèè áûë ïðîâåäåí â Êèåâå ñ 26 ñåíòÿáðÿ ïî 2 îêòÿáðÿ 1994 ã.  íåì ó÷àñòâîâàëî 26 ÷åëîâåê. Ñðåäè íèõ áûë òîëüêî îäèí êîëëåãà èç äàëüíåãî çàðóáåæüÿ – Dr. Rudolf Kohout (Australia). Ïî ìàòåðèà-ëàì ýòîãî êîëëîêâèóìà áûëî ïîäãîòîâëåíî 15 ñòàòåé, âîøåäøèõ â î÷åðåäíîé òîì 3-4 “Ìàòåðèàëîâ êîëëîêâèóìîâ” (ñîäåðæàíèå ñì. íà ñ. 27) .2 ×åòâåðòûé êîëëîêâèóì Ñåêöèè ñîñòîÿëñÿ â Ñàíêò-Ïåòåðáóðãå ñ 18 ïî 24 àâãóñòà 1996 ã. Îí áûë çàäóìàí è ïðîâåäåí êàê ïî-íàñòîÿùåìó ìåæäóíàðîä-íûé.  íåì ïðèíÿëè ó÷àñòèå áîëåå 50 ÷åëîâåê, âêëþ÷àÿ 16 ó÷àñòíèêîâ èç Àâñòðàëèè, Àâñòðèè, Âåëèêîáðèòàíèè, Ãåðìàíèè, Ïîëüøè, Ñåíåãàëà è Þãîñëàâèè (ðèñ. 6). Ó÷àñòíèêè êîëëîêâèóìà ïðåäñòàâèëè 33 äîêëàäà è íåñêîëüêî ñòåíäîâûõ ñîîáùåíèé, òåçèñû êîòîðûõ áûëè íàïå÷àòàíû â âèäå áðîøþðû. Òåìàòèêà äîêëàäîâ îêàçàëàñü î÷åíü ðàçíîîáðàçíîé è âêëþ÷àëà èññëåäîâàíèÿ ïîâåäåíèÿ, ýêîëîãèè, ôèçèîëîãèè, ñèñòåìàòèêè, áèîãåîãðàôèè è ýâîëþöèè íå òîëüêî îáùåñòâåííûõ íàñåêîìûõ, íî è íåêîòîðûõ ïîëóîáùåñòâåí-íûõ è îäèíî÷ïîëóîáùåñòâåí-íûõ ï÷åë. Ó÷àñòíèêàìè ýòîãî êîëëîêâèóìà áûëî ïîäãîòîâëåíî 26 ñòàòåé, âîøåäøèõ â î÷åðåäíîé òîì 3-4 “Ìàòåðèàëîâ êîëëîêâèóìîâ”, îïóáëèêîâàííûé â 1997 ã. Ñáîðíèê ñîäåðæèò 28 ñòàòåé íà àíãëèéñêîì è 13 ñòàòåé íà ðóññêîì ÿçûêàõ (ñîäåðæàíèå ñì. íà ñ. 27) . Åãî ïóáëèêàöèÿ ñòàëà2 âîçìîæíîé áëàãîäàðÿ ôèíàíñîâîé ïîìîùè Íåìåöêîé ñåêöèè IUSSI, îïëàòèâøåé ïðèìåðíî ïîëîâèíó ñòîèìîñòè èçäàíèÿ. Ïÿòûé êîëëîêâèóì ñîñòîÿëñÿ ñ 4 ïî 8 îêòÿáðå 1999 ã. â Ìîñêâå. Ýòèì ñîáûòèåì áûëî îòìå÷åíî 10-ëåòèå ñîçäàíèÿ Ñåêöèè è 5-ëåòèå åå âñòóïëåíèÿ â IUSSI. Îïóáëèêîâàíû òåçèñû äîêëàäîâ íà ðóññêîì è àíãëèéñêîì ÿçûêàõ.  2006 ã. âûøåë â ñâåò ñáîðíèê ìàòåðèàëîâ ñèìïîçèóìà ïî æèçíåííûì öèêëàì îáùåñòâåííûõ íàñåêîìûõ Life Cycles in Social Insects: Behaviour, Ecology and Evolution , â êîòîðûé âîøëè 12 ñòàòåé, íàïèñàííûõ âåäóùèìè4 ñïåöèàëèñòàìè â äàííîé îáëàñòè íàóêè (ñîäåðæàíèå ñì. íà ñ. 29).

 àâãóñòå 2005 ã. Ñåêöèÿ îðãàíèçîâàëà è ïðîâåëà â Ñàíêò-Ïåòåðáóðãå Òðåòèé Åâðîïåéñêèé êîíãðåññ ïî îáùåñòâåííûì íàñåêîìûì (3 Europeanrd Congress on Social Insects, St. Petersburg, Russia, 22–27 August 2005) . Â5 êîíãðåññå ó÷àñòâîâàëî 169 ñïåöèàëèñòîâ è Åâðîïû, Àìåðèêè, ßïîíèè è äðóãèõ ñòðàí.  ïðîãðàììå êîíãðåññà áûëî 9 ïëåíàðíûõ ëåêöèé, ïðî÷èòàí-íûõ âåäóùèìè ó÷åíûìè, è 19 òåìàòè÷åñêèõ ñèìïîçèóìîâ, îðãàíèçîâàíïðî÷èòàí-íûõ ñïåöèàëèñòàìè â ñîîòâåòñòâóþùèõ îáëàñòÿõ íàóêè. Ïðîâåäåíèå êîíãðåññà òàêîãî óðîâíÿ – ýòî âûäàþùèéñÿ óñïåõ Ðîññèéñêîé ñåêöèè IUSSI. Ðèñóíîê 7. Ñ 1993 ïî 1998 ãîäû Ñåêöèÿ èçäàâàëà íàó÷íî-èíôîðìàöèîííûé áþë-ëåòåíü “Socium”, ðàññûëàâøèéñÿ ïî ïî÷òå âñåì ÷ëåíàì Ñåêöèè, â âåäóùèå áèáëèîòåêè Ðîññèè è â çàðóáåæíûå ñåêöèè IUSSI. Ñîñòàâèòåëåì è ðåäàêòî-ðîì áþëëåòåíÿ áûë Â. Å. Êèïÿòêîâ. Âñåãî áûëî èçäàíî ÷åòûðå âûïóñêà áþë-ëåòåíÿ (ðèñ. 9 è 10).  òå âðåìåíà âñå ñåêöèè IUSSI èçäàâàëè ïîäîáíûå áþëëåòåíè.  áèáëèîòåêå Ñåêöèè õðàíèòñÿ ìíîæåñòâî âûïóñêîâ èíôîðìàöèîííûõ áþë-ëåòåíåé íàöèîíàëüíûõ ñåêöèé IUSSI. C 1998 ã. ïî 2008 ã. áëàãîäàðÿ ôèíàí-ñîâîé ïîìîùè ðóêîâîäñòâà IUSSI ìû òàêæå ïîëó÷àëè ìåæäóíàðîäíûé æóðíàë “Insectes Sociaux”, èçäàâàåìûé ïîä ýãèäîé IUSSI.
