hadlaideggsforthe6thtimeinthatyear.Therecord丘omTbeT虹rdFleetofRoyalThalNavyshowed

thatSriNuanalsocametOlayeggsattheislands3yearsago.While,KByanOWaSreCOrdedasher丘rst

egglaymginthatyearandtherewasnorecordtolayeggsattheislandsdmingpast4yearS.

Thepositiondatawereplottedwithglobalin血7Tna也onsystem(GIS)program.Theaddidonal

RESULTSAⅣDpISCUSSION

Tt[ePTT 7besignalduradonsfromPTT−attaChedturtleshstedmuchlesserthan也especificabon(seeTab.1, theTrial:3days,TelonicsST18:21days,KiwisatlOl:32days).Severalreasoncanbeasstmled:1) Since,theTrialPTTwascormectedtothetl血ebyamonofi1ament,aChancethatitwillte訂apartWaS high;2)theTelonicsSTl$andKiwisatlOlm町bedetachedwhenthettdesrubbcdtheirbackson hardsubstratesordl血1g血g;3)Theturtlesmaybecaughtbyfishinggears.

ComparisonbctweenKiwisatlOland Telonics ST18showed thatKiwisatlOIsent twice

highernumberofdataperdaythanTelonicsST18(4.0±0.9血mes/dayVSl.6iO.3血1eS/day).However, thisisbecauseKiwisatlOlhashlghersendingpower(1watt)comparedtoTelonicsST18(0.5watt). Besides,KiwisatlOIwastumedon24hradaywhlleTelonicsST18wasttmledon8hoursadayonly. Thenurhberofsignalwashighdl血g4:00−11二00and16:00−21:00(localtime). ne反乱cksand5peeds Al1PTT−attaChcdttdesmigratedtodi飴rentdirecdons肝ig.1).
