When reporting Latter-Term Elderly Medical Insurance premiums and National Health Insurance premiums as a social insurance deduction, you do not need to attach or show a certiicate. Simply add the total amount you paid from January 1 through December 31, and report the amount.

Eligibility: Children whose parent/guardian lives in Urayasu City, have been registered in the basic resident registrar for one year or longer, are in high school or university, and are having difficulty going to school due to financial reasons.
Scholarship amount:
High School: ¥5,000 per month; University: ¥15,000 per month (provided every six months)

Lodging-Type Postnatal
Care for Mothers and Babies
at Juntendo University Urayasu
Hospital Will Begin from March 1
A shor t-stay (lodging) program to nur ture a sense of rhythm and physical and emotional stability in everyday life for mothers and babies is currently conducted at Tokyo Bay Urayasu Ichikawa Medical Center.
Starting March 1, this program will begin at Juntendo University Medical Department Urayasu Hospital as well. Please note that the postnatal care programs of Tokyo Bay Urayasu Ichikawa Medical Center and Juntendo University Medical Department Urayasu Hospital cannot both be used for the same childbirth.
Eligibility: Newborns and mothers who fulfill all of the following requirements:
●Urayasu City residents
●Have a sense of insecurity about child-raising
●No support is received from family or others
●The mother and child do not require medical supervision, and have permission to be released from the hospital.
●Under the age of 60 days
Note: All rooms are individual rooms. As a rule, the mother and child remain in the same room for 24-hours a day. Baby formula, diapers, and indoor wear are available at the facility.
Fee: ¥6,000 for a one-night, two-day stay.
Notes:
1. As a rule, stays may be for up to seven days. There is a fee of ¥3,000 per day for each extra day. There are three meals served per day (two meals for the first and last day). Part or the entire fee is waived for households that are tax-exempt or receive public financial assistance for everyday living. A separate charge is added for multiple births. Even if meals are cancelled, there is no change in the fee.
