Automatic Melting Control of 85t UHP Electric Arc Furnace

要旨 :

千葉第1鉄鋼工場の85 トン UHP (Ultra High Power) 溶解炉に自動溶解制御システムを 導入し,1981 年 6 月初旬に工程化した。本制御システムのハードウェアとしてはマイクロ コンピュータを採用し,ソフトウェアとしては溶解プロセス制御,電極,炉床の損耗量や 相対位置の管理,操業時間管理,フリッカ監視,集塵機風量制御,オペレータガイダンス, 上位計算機とのリンゲージの機能などを有する。稼動後安定した電力投入が可能となり, Tap to Tap 時間が短縮し,耐火物原単位が低減するとともに操業の標準化,操業管理の効 率化などの面で成果をあげている。電力原単位,電極原単位のいっそうの低減が今後の課 題である。 Synopsis :

As 85 ton electric arc furnace, newly erected in No.1 melting shop of Chiba Works, and equipped with automatic melting control system came on stream in June, 1981. The system includes a micro computer and its soft wear covers various functions such as procedures of melting, electrode movement control, flicker suppression, blast volume control, operation guidance, date logging and interface with process computer. Since the start-up, stable power supply realized has led to verious advantages such as reduction of tap-to-tap time, saving of refractory comsumption and establisshment of steady operational conditions. More efforts should be paid in future for further decrease of the power and electrode consumptions.
