月に開催された第2 9
回北京オリンピック大会を契機に、中国においては、大会開俄前から、また開他期間 中を通して、中国に滞在する外国メディアに対して取材規制の緩和措置がとられた。この緩和措慣は、オリンピック が終わったあとも継続して採用され、今日に至っている。囲内のメディアに対しては、依然厳しい規制を行っている 中国政府が、このオリンピックというスポーツイベントを通じて外国メディアに対し取材緩和措置をとるようになっ たことは、スポーツが法的なルールを変更する力を現実に持っているということでもあり、大変興味探い。本稿では、中国憲法による表現の自由保障、「出版管理条例」等に基づくメディア規制の現状を取り上げたあと、
