花ぴらのない斑築株
将辿種はしきりに白い化か咲いていて{,. 化びらなき株はし、つか結尖している。
Variegated apetalous plant. By this plant the writer got a chance to recognize an abnormal type in this species.

A variety quite absent of petals of St.el/aria med辺CRY. was found i n Tokyo b y the writer. A cross between a n apetalous (約and a normal (!) plants gave F2-segregation close to 15 normal : 1 apetalous, indicating that the petal formation is governed by two duplicate genes (S and T).
