浄土真宗本願寺派の本山。正式名称は「龍谷山 本願寺」。境内の御影堂、阿弥陀堂（ともに国宝）の威 容には圧倒されます。伏見城からの移築とも言われる唐門、現存する能舞台では日本最古と言う北能 舞台や、書院、飛雲閣（いずれも国宝）の建築物は、華麗な桃山文化の粋を今に伝えています。1994年 には世界文化遺産に登録されました。なお、阿弥陀堂内陣と唐門は2022年3月まで修復工事中。 Honzan of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji faction. Goedo, Amidado (national treasure) at Nishi-Hongan-ji Temple are designed to impress. The common name is called "Nishi-Honganji" although the official name as Ryukokusan-Hongan-ji. Among the existing Noh stages, it is the oldest stage in Japan. Kitano-butai, Shirosho-in, Kurosho-in, Hiunkaku(national treasure), were registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. Jonangu Shrine 西暦794年の平安京遷都に際し、以来南方に鎮まり国を守護する城南宮と仰がれてい

て様々な美しい花々を楽しむ事ができます。

It consists of a large water tank of "Kyo no Umi" with a height of about 6 meters, and areas such as "Kyo River", "Penguins", and "Seals" that display about 20 giant salamanders. Dolphin performances are held at the Dolphin Stadium, which overlooks the city and nature of Kyoto, which changes its expression from season to season. A new exhibition area "Jellyfish Wonder" will be opened on Thursday, July 16, 2020.

浄土真宗本願寺派の本山。正式名称は「龍谷山 本願寺」。境内の御影堂、阿弥陀堂（ともに国宝）の威 容には圧倒されます。伏見城からの移築とも言われる唐門、現存する能舞台では日本最古と言う北能 舞台や、書院、飛雲閣（いずれも国宝）の建築物は、華麗な桃山文化の粋を今に伝えています。1994年 には世界文化遺産に登録されました。なお、阿弥陀堂内陣と唐門は2022年3月まで修復工事中。 Honzan of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji faction. Goedo, Amidado (national treasure) at Nishi-Hongan-ji Temple are designed to impress. The common name is called "Nishi-Honganji" although the official name as Ryukokusan-Hongan-ji. Among the existing Noh stages, it is the oldest stage in Japan. Kitano-butai, Shirosho-in, Kurosho-in, Hiunkaku(national treasure), were registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. 「清水の舞台」として名高く、778年の開創。春の桜と新緑、秋の紅葉と四季折々の美しさを背景にし た舞台造りの本堂（国宝）は断崖の上にせりだし、市街地の眺望もすばらしい。境内には、奥の院・ 阿彌陀堂（いずれも重文）など多くの文化財があり、1994年には世界文化遺産に登録されました。 Kiyomizu-dera Temple was founded in 778, The main hall (national treasure), with its stage-like architecture, offers a magnificent view of the Kyoto cityscape including cherry blossoms in springs and the changing leaf color in autumn for the four seasons. 874年開創の古刹。951年に建立された国宝五重塔は京都府下最古の木造建築物で、 広大な境内にそびえて静かに1,100年余の時の流れを語り伝えています。また、豊臣秀 吉が1598年に行った「醍醐の花見」でも知られています。

Jonangu Shrine 西暦794年の平安京遷都に際し、以来南方に鎮まり国を守護する城南宮と仰がれてい
ます。また、『平家物語』の舞台でもあります。境内に広がる神苑楽水苑では、四季を通じ
て様々な美しい花々を楽しむ事ができます。

Goedo, Amidado (national treasure) at Nishi-Hongan-ji Temple are designed to impress. The common name is called "Nishi-Honganji" although the official name as Ryukokusan-Hongan-ji. Among the existing Noh stages, it is the oldest stage in Japan. Kitano-butai, Shirosho-in, Kurosho-in, Hiunkaku(national treasure), were registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. 「清水の舞台」として名高く、778年の開創。春の桜と新緑、秋の紅葉と四季折々の美しさを背景にし た舞台造りの本堂（国宝）は断崖の上にせりだし、市街地の眺望もすばらしい。境内には、奥の院・ 阿彌陀堂（いずれも重文）など多くの文化財があり、1994年には世界文化遺産に登録されました。 Kiyomizu-dera Temple was founded in 778, The main hall (national treasure), with its stage-like architecture, offers a magnificent view of the Kyoto cityscape including cherry blossoms in springs and the changing leaf color in autumn for the four seasons. Kiyomizu-dera has many cultural assets in the temple precincts, including the Okuno-in and Amida-do (both important cultural properties), Kiyomizu-dera was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.

Jonangu Shrine 西暦794年の平安京遷都に際し、以来南方に鎮まり国を守護する城南宮と仰がれてい
ます。また、『平家物語』の舞台でもあります。境内に広がる神苑楽水苑では、四季を通じ
て様々な美しい花々を楽しむ事ができます。
Jonangu Shrine, was built south of the newly established capital, Heian-kyo, in 794 to protect the capital and ensure the nation s peace. It is also the stage of the Tale of the Heike. The Rakusuien garden is considered as a great place to view different natural beauties throughout the changing of seasons.

It consists of a large water tank of "Kyo no Umi" with a height of about 6 meters, and areas such as "Kyo River", "Penguins", and "Seals" that display about 20 giant salamanders. Dolphin performances are held at the Dolphin Stadium, which overlooks the city and nature of Kyoto, which changes its expression from season to season. A new exhibition area "Jellyfish Wonder" will be opened on Thursday, July 16, 2020.
