ANALYSIS OF GROUND VIBRATION DURING THE DEMOLITION WORK AND
NEW CONSTRUCTION WORK OF THE BUILDING ON SOFT GROUND

In this paper, during the demolition work and new construction work of the building on soft ground, by measuring consecutively the ground vibration in the ground surface of the site boundary, we analyzed the ground vibration level for each process. As a result, it was confirmed that in the case of heavy equipment work at the lower level than the ground surface level, ground vibration is particularly large. On the other hand, when building a structure of new buildings, with the exception of the setting of the concrete, ground vibration was confirmed to be small. Also, even if the existing underground structures is leaving, it was confirmed that it can be estimated roughly the amount of attenuation of ground vibration with distance by using a theoretical formula.
