GENERAL INFORMATION
KINGPIN is a uniquely multifunctional spray adjuvant consisting of a highly refined and modified spray oil and nonionic organosilicone. KINGPIN h as b ee n formulated to promote fast spreading, uniform distribution and absorption of spray on leaf and stem surfaces, thereby reducing the negative effects of adverse environmental conditions.
KINGPIN is designed for use with those pesticides or products whose labels recommend the addition of a spray adjuvant to improve coverage. When used as directed, KINGPIN maximizes the activity and effectiveness of certain herbicides in post emergence applications. Therefore, care must be taken in treating sensitive crops during periods when plants are subjected to drought stress, high temperatures, and high humidity. Disclaimer: Always refer to the label of the pesticide before using KINGPIN or any other product.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
May be applied by ground or aerial spray equipment. Use KINGPIN at the rate of 1-5 pints per 100 gallons of spray solution in ground applications. Use 3-6 pints per 100 gallons of spray solution in aerial applications. Some pesticide labels may recommend higher or lower rates of spray adjuvant. When this occurs follow the pesticide labels’
recommendations. Before using KINGPIN in a tank mix or prior to the application of a tank mix with a product where a nonionic spray adjuvant is not specifically recommended but not prohibited by the product’s label, the user or applicator advisor must have experience with the combination or must have conducted a phytotoxicity test under the same conditions.
MIXING
Prior to pesticide applications, clean mixing and application equipment according to the pesticide label directions. To prevent or minimize foaming, fill spray tank 2/3 or 3/4 full of water and begin agitation. Add an antifoam to the spray tank before pesticides, nutrients and or KINGPIN are added. For optimum results, spray mixes containing KINGPIN should be applied within 36 hours after mixing.
