Welcome to Tastin'France, the professional tasting organized by Business France in Japan on 29 and 30 November 2017. In Tokyo and Osaka, 25 French wine producers and merchants from the main wine regions: Champagne, Alsace, Bourgogne, Rhône Valley, Languedoc-Roussillon, South-West, Bordeaux, Aquitaine, Cognac…, are pleased to present 200 wines during this professional tasting.

In France in the 1960s Jean-Guy Lavau took charge of a small winemaking cellar in Sablet at the heart of the Rhone Valley. This would become the MAISON LAVAU in 1965. Some 30 years later, Frédéric and Benoît Lavau have joined the team at their family winery which has since become a renowned and respected name in Rhône Valley winemaking.

Located a few miles away from Marmande, the vineyards of the appellation Côtes du Marmandais stretch over the 2 banks of the Garonne river. It represents 95% of the AOC Côtes du Marmandais, with 815 ha for a production of 6 million bottles.
