HEXUS-D is a water conditioner/ammonium sulfate blend of acids and acid salts to form a superior, low-rate designed to generate the performance equal to ammonium sulfate at a lower use rate.
HEXUS-D is formulated to diminish the interference of hard water ions (such as calcium, magnesium, and including iron). HEXUS-D will perform well with all formulations of glyphosate and other products that call for ammonium sulfate in the tank mix.
HEXUS-D does not contain any surfactant and may be used on cotton for glyphosate sprays.
HEXUS-D is used to treat water to get the most out of herbicides by reducing pH, complexing, and sequestering hard water ions. Weak acid herbicides such as dicamba and 2,4-D and other and salt base herbicides, will be improved by the addition of HEXUS-D to the spray tank.
HEXUS-D reduces the pH of the spray solution, and should only be used with products that allow and are compatible with acidic conditions.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
HEXUS-D may be used for pest control products used in agriculture, non-crop, industrial, right-of ways, forestry, turf and ornamentals that allow the addition of acidic ingredients.
Always add HEXUS-D to spray water, before adding pesticides.
HEXUS-D may be used for applications made by air or ground. Do not use in aquatic applications.
MIXING RATES
HEXUS-D may be used as an ammonium sulfate substitute with pest control products that advise or require the addition of ammonium sulfate. Two pounds of HEXUS-D has established in field trials that it provides results equivalent to 8.5 of ammonium sulfate.
Suggested use rates – Herbicides, Desiccants and Defoliants:
2 to 4 lbs. per 100 gallons of spray mixture.
pH Reduction for Insecticides:
0.25 to 1.0 lb per 100 gallons of spray mixture.
The lowest rate can be used if weeds are young or actively growing. Use elevated rates when weeds are large or hardened off due to stress or warm weather.
Fill spray tank about half full of water and begin stirring. Add the HEXUS-D to spray tank first. Continue mixing and add pesticides and other mix tank partners to spray tank while continuing to fill.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Store in a cool, dry place, in the original container. Completely empty bag into spray tank, and if feasible, rinse during mixing and loading, then offer container for recycling or dispose of in a sanitary landfill. Dispose of container in a safe manner in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Do not contaminate soil or water when cleaning equipment, or disposing of equipment wash-waters.
