Abstract:We  examined  the  short  term  prognosis  of  extremely  low  birth  weight  infants

(ELBWI)who were admitted to our NICU from 2001 through 2005. Sixty  eight of 105 infants

(64.7%)survived and were discharged from our unit. The survival rate of the infants who were  born in the 22nd and 23rd gestational weeks was 22.2%, while that of infants who were born in the  26th week or later was 83%. A total of 24 infants(64.9%)in the fatal cases died within the first  7 days of life. Ten of the cases were died within 24 hours after birth. Survivors who had been  born  in  the  26th  week  of  gestational  age  or  earlier  showed  abnormalities  in  their  MRI  findings. Based on the above findings, it is therefore important to further improve the manage- ment for high risk delivery in order to prevent early neonatal death.

In Section 3, we show that the clique- width is unbounded in any superfactorial class of graphs, and in Section 4, we prove that the clique-width is bounded in any hereditary

Inside this class, we identify a new subclass of Liouvillian integrable systems, under suitable conditions such Liouvillian integrable systems can have at most one limit cycle, and

The main problem upon which most of the geometric topology is based is that of classifying and comparing the various supplementary structures that can be imposed on a

Then it follows immediately from a suitable version of “Hensel’s Lemma” [cf., e.g., the argument of [4], Lemma 2.1] that S may be obtained, as the notation suggests, as the m A

Our method of proof can also be used to recover the rational homotopy of L K(2) S 0 as well as the chromatic splitting conjecture at primes p > 3 [16]; we only need to use the

The proof uses a set up of Seiberg Witten theory that replaces generic metrics by the construction of a localised Euler class of an infinite dimensional bundle with a Fredholm
