Apply Brigade 2EC at the rate of 3.9 to 6.4 ounces (0.06 to 0.1 lb. active) per acre. Apply in a minimum of 8 gallons of water per acre by air equipment or in a minimum of 20 gallons of water by ground equipment.

RESTRICTIONS:

Brigade 2EC may be used only in the pre-bloom or post-bloom period. Bees, used for pollination, should not be introduced into the field within 5 days of the pre-bloom application. Bees, used for pollination, must be removed from field before a post-bloom application is made.

Do not use more than 19.2 ounces (0.3 lb. active) per season.

Rotational crops may be planted no sooner than 30 days after last application.

Do not apply Brigade 2EC or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds while bees are actively visiting the treatment area.

Do not apply Brigade 2EC when weather conditions would favor drift or run-off from a proposed treatment site into fish bearing waters. Do not apply Brigade 2EC within 25 feet by ground, or by air within 150 feet of lakes, reservoirs, rivers, permanent streams, marshes or natural ponds, estuaries, and commercial fish farm ponds.

Do not make ground or aerial application during temperature inversions. Make aerial or ground applications when the wind velocity favors on target disposition (approximately 3-10 mph). Do not apply when wind velocity exceeds 15 mph.

Brigade 2EC should be mixed and loaded using systems that comply with accepted standards that identify a closed mixing system.

Do not graze or cut current year's treated Carrot Seed crop for hay or forage.

Treated Carrot seed is not to be used for sprouting.

All Carrot Seed treated with Brigade 2EC is to be tagged at the processing plant, "Not for human or animal consumption". It shall be the grower's responsibility to notify the processing plant of any Carrot Seed crop treated with Brigade 2EC.
