FIRST AID

IF SWALLOWED: Call a Poison Control Center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a Poison Control Center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a Poison Control Center or doctor for treatment advice.

IF INHALED: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferable mouth-mouth if possible. Call a Poison Control Center or doctor for treatment advice.

IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a Poison Control Center or doctor for treatment advice.

PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS HAZARDS TO HUMAN AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS DANGER: Corrosive. Causes irreversible eye damage.

Do not get in eyes or on clothing. Wear protective eyewear (goggles, face shield or safety glasses). Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, or using tobacco. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Handlers must wear: Long-sleeves shirt and long pants;

Socks and shoes; Goggles or face shield; Chemical resistant gloves (such as or made out of barrier laminate, or any of the following types of gloves at > 14 mils thickness: butyl rubber, nitrile rubber, neoprene rubber, polyvinyl chloride, and viton.

User Safety Requirements:

Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning /

maintaining PPE / if no such instruction for washables, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.

User Safety Recommendation:

User must wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using toilet. User must remove clothing immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.

User must remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARD

This product is toxic to fish. Do not discharge effluent containing this product into lakes, streams, ponds, estuaries, oceans, or other waters unless in accordance with the requirements of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit and the permitting authority has been notified in writing prior to discharge.

Do not discharge effluent containing this product to sewer systems without previously notifying the local sewage treatment plant authority. For guidance contact your State Water Board or Regional Office of the EPA.

DIRECTION FOR USE:

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.

STORAGE: Store in a cool dry place.

PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Pesticide, spray mixture or rinse water that cannot be used according to label instructions must be disposed of according to applicable Federal, State or local procedures under the Resources Conservation and Recovery Act.

CONTAINER DISPOSAL:

Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container.

Offer for recycling, if available.

Triple rinse as follows: Empty the remaining contents into application equipment or a mix tank. Fill the container ¼ full with water. Replace and tighten closures. Tip container on its side and roll it back and forth, ensuring at least one complete revolution, for 30 seconds. Stand the container on its end and tip it back and forth several times. Turn the container over onto its other end and tip it back and forth several times. Empty the rinsate into application equipment or a mix tank or store rinsate for later use or disposal.

Repeat this procedure two more times.

Once opened use the entire contents of the container within 120 days.

FOR USE ON CITRUS:

For use in mechanical foamers or sprays. Dilute one gallon of concentrate with 9 gallons of water. Contact time with citrus should be between 10 and 30 seconds. Follow treatment with adequate fresh water sprays. Also for use in the Decco Process by or under the supervision of DECCO US POST-HARVEST INC. personnel.

FOR USE ON PEARS:

For use in foam washers. Dilute 1 gallon of Deccosol 125 Concentrate with 11 gallons of water. This dilution is foamed and brushed onto the pears for 15 to 30 seconds after which it is thoroughly rinsed off with fresh water. Or, for use in the Decco Process by or under the supervision of DECCO US POST-HARVEST INC. personnel.

NOTE: Do not exceed 30 seconds contact time; use mechanical cleanouts if necessary.

TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO CASE SHALL DECCO US POST-HARVEST INC. OR SELLER BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OR HANDLING OF THIS PRODUCT INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS REPUTATION, OR CUSTOMERS; LABOR COST, OR OTHER EXPENSES INCURRED IN REPACKAGING, SORTING OR REPROCESSING.
