任意の紫外線のゲノム毒性を皮膚で評価できるようにするため、マウスを用いて突然変異誘発に 関する作用スペクトルの解析を行った。紫外線の変異原性、皮膚の変異誘発抑制(MIS)応答、炎 症誘発の3種の指標について作用スペクトルを決定した。得られた作用スペクトルを用いて日光紫 外線で誘発される突然変異頻度を推測し、実測値と比較することにより作用スペクトルの有用性・

信頼性を検証した。紫外線の皮膚ゲノムリスク評価には MIS 応答を考慮した評価が不可欠であるこ とを示すと同時に、正確な評価には MIS 応答機構の解明が必要であることが明らかとなった。得ら れた作用スペクトルは日光紫外線の皮膚ゲノムリスク評価に十分有用であることを示した。

I analyzed action spectra of the genotoxicity of ultraviolet radiation (UVR) for mouse skin, using three indicators of mutagenicity, mutation induction suppression (MIS) and inflammation. Based on the obtained action spectra, the mutation frequencies in the skin induced by solar UVR were evaluated, and compared with observed data determined directly in sunlight exposure experiments. The results indicate that inclusion of MIS in the evaluation is essential for the estimation of UVR genotoxicity for the skin. It was confirmed that the
