Sizebyuslngthedefinedmethod,aneWCrOSSOVerOPerationisproposedtocarryouttheGA・ Intheproposedcrossoveroperation,thechromosomewhichismovedisnotalinearonebut ratheramultiple-1ayeredchromosome.
ThethirdstoryofthethesisisalayoutdesignproblemforFTL・Inorderto貢ndFrL layoutdesignincludingthebuffersizebetweeneachpalrOfFTLmachines,ane疏cientFrL
layoutdesignprocedurecalledaOnebyOneLayoutMethod(00LM)isproposed・Usingthe
OOLMthegoalplanisdividedto uniformcells andusedGAto丘ndtheefBcientlayout design.
ThelaststoryofthethesisistosolveFrLbufftrsizeandFrLlayoutdesignproblems
simultaneously.In order to achieve this,a Concurrent Production
Engineerlng
System(COPES)isproposed・COPESintegratesasetofmodulesystemsintoasingleframework,in
accordancewiththepracticeofconcurrentengineering(CE)・Thedi抗cultyofdevelopingCE
systemishowtofindtwokindsofsolutionsfordifferentdesignprocesses・COPESsoIvestheproblembyusingthetwomodulessystem・Thefirstoneisproductionsimulator(PS)module
thatsearchesthebufftrsizeinfrontofthebayofeachmachineinFTL・ThesecondisCAD modulethatdrawsFTLlayoutdesign・Conventionally;a氏erspecificationsdesignsofmachines andconveyorsare丘nished,PrOductionenglneerSStarttOdrawthedesignofmachinesandFrLlayout・COPES can丘nd the bufftr size and draw FTLlayout simultaneously・The SPeCificationsandthedrawcorrespondtoeachdesignsolutionsofdifftrentprocesses,meanlng
thatCOPESsatisfiesthede丘nitionofCE.
The thesis results can assist the production englneer,s decisionsfor the bu飴r size, optimaldesignandlayoutdesignofFPS・ProductionenglneerSCanusetheresultsintheir decisionswhentheydevelopanewFPS・Also,it,sexpectedthatthedevelopedsystemscan improvethecooperationbetweenproductionenglneerSandtheplantdesigner・Thiscanbe donebyenablingtheproductionenglneerStOmakebetterdecisionregardingFPSbufftrsize, OPtimaldesignandlayoutdesign・
