Festival purport】
Worldwide Youth Uchinanchu Association (WYUA) was inaugurated during The 5th World Uchinanchu
Festival in 2011. Since 2012, WYUA has been hosting the World Youth Uchinanchu Festival each year in four continents; South America, North America, Europe and Asia.
In previous four time festivals, youths from all over the world have interacted with each other and built an "Uchina Network" between the participating countries. The 5th World Youth Uchinanchu Festival makes
the best use of the Network which we have been building so far by expanding and strengthening this Network. We also aim to lead youths to give more attention and become active in their own local community.

【Application Requirements】
(1) Participants residing outside of Okinawa must be 18 to 35 years of age
(2) Participants must be sound in both mind and body.
(3) Participants must take full responsibility for making to Okinawa. (4) Participants must buy overseas travel insurance between 20th, October to 25th October 2016.
(5) Participants must join entire program during October 20th to October 23rd.
【Participant registration fees】
A ticket: ¥15,000 for Early Bird Special (June 9th 2016 to June 30th 2016).
B ticket: ¥18,000 (July 1st 2016 to August 31st 2016). Participant registration Fee Covers:
・Lodging (check in on October 20th, ends on October 25th)
・Fifteen meals (Lunch on October 20th to breakfast on October 25th) ・Transportation expenses (between lodging place and festival venues) ・Access to all activities of festival (optional tour included)
* Please note that the registration fee for participants does not including air ticket, overseas travel insurance, bank transfer fee, and expenses of applying for a passport.
C Ticket ¥ 3500 (June 9th 2016 to August 31st 2016). Included in this rate:
・Entrance to the Festival Programs.
・6 Meals (October 20 dinner, October 21 lunch and dinner, October 22 Dinner, and October 23 lunch and dinner) *Other than October 20 and 21, the meals are planned to be Bentos.
Not included in this rate:
・Lodging, Transportation, Air Tickets, Overseas Travel Insurance, Passport fees, and Handling/exchange fees.

・In addition, some events will have a discounted rate to enter as well as discounted rates into certain tourist attractions

【The number of participants】
The first 150 applicants will be accepted.

【Privacy policy】 The 5th World Youth Uchinanchu festival Executive Committee will use personal information within the event management. Pictures which are taken in the festival may be used such as articles of newspaper, blog, and publicity matters for any relevant events. The personal information of participants must not be used for any purpose other than that above. However, if personal information of participants is requested by law and public institution such as Court or the police, we will disclose that without permission.
【Other】 1. Participant registration fee will not be refunded if the event is cancelled due to reasons beyond the control of the organizers, such as earthquakes, wind or flood damage, storms, unforeseen occurrences, mishaps, epidemics, or other similar cases.
2. The money once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

5. Please offer to organizers if there is any foods and beverages that participants cannot take because of your religion, creed, health, or any other reasons.
6. The organizers will provide only first-aid treatment for accidents or injuries during the event and will compensate for them, if any, within the coverage of the insurance for which they have contracted. The organizers are not held liable for any further medical care or compensation.
7. For organizational and promotional purposes, the organizers or approved third parties may publish video footage, photographs, articles or personal records of the event through media including promotional materials such as the program, and posters, as well as television, radio, newspapers, magazines, and the internet. 8. For event-related matters not covered above, please follow the
instructions of the organizers.

【趣 旨】 2011 年第 5 回世界のウチナーンチュ大会を機に世界若者ウチナーンチュ連合会（WYUA）が発足し、翌年 2012 年から世界の 4 大陸*（南米、北米、欧州、アジア）で 18～35 歳の若者を対象とした世界若者ウチ ナーンチュ大会を開催してきた。これまで 4 回にわたる世界若者ウチナーンチュ大会では、4 大陸で世界 の若者が交流し、各地域間のウチナーネットワークを形成してきた。2016 年第 5 回目にあたる本大会で は、これまでに形成されたウチナーネットワークを最大限に活用し、「ウチナーネットワークの拡大と発 展」、「地域に目を向けるアクティブな若者の創出」を目指す。 *世界若者ウチナーンチュ大会における「大陸」とは南米、北米、欧州、アジア、沖縄を指す。 【主 催】 第 5 回世界若者ウチナーンチュ大会実行委員会（英語表記：The 5th World Youth Uchinanchu Festival Executive Committee）
