DIRECTIONS FOR USE – Glyphosate Tolerant Field Corn
Tank mixture for post-emergence control of emerged broadleaf weeds in glyphosate tolerant field corn.
Spirit may be applied post-emergence at a rate of 0.75-1.0 oz/Acre in a tank mixture with a solo glyphosate product (such as Touchdown or Roundup brands) that is registered for use over-the-top in glyphosate tolerant (such as Agrisure GT Corn or Roundup Ready) field corn.
If the glyphosate product has a built-in adjuvant system (i.e. the product label does not recommend additional adjuvant), only spray grade ammonium sulphate (AMS) at 8.5 – 17 lbs/100 gallons should be added to this mixture. If the glyphosate product label calls for an adjuvant in addition to AMS, add a non-ionic surfactant (NIS) at 0.25 – 0.5 % v/v (1-2 quart/100 gallons) and AMS at 8.5 – 17 lbs/100 gallons.
This tank mix is for control of emerged broadleaf weeds in glyphosate tolerant field corn that is 4-20 inches tall (V2 – V6 growth stage). Do not apply to corn plants less than 4 inches tall or injury may occur. Weeds should be between 1 and 12 inches in height.
If there are known glyphosate resistant broadleaf weeds emerged in the field, then use the higher rate of Spirit in the tankmix.
This tank mixture will not control weeds that are known to be resistant/tolerant to both glyphosate and ALS/SU herbicides.
Important Notes:
1. Apply this tank mixture only on corn between 4 and 20 inches in height.
2. Read and follow the Spirit and glyphosate product labels for weed height recommendations.
3. Read and follow the crop rotational statements on both the Spirit and glyphosate product labels.
4. Read and follow the Roundup Ready Gene or Glyphosate Tolerant Gene requirements on the glyphosate product label.

Use of this product according to this bulletin has not been reviewed or endorsed by the Office of the Indiana State Chemist.
The user must refer to the federally approved Spirit and glyphosate product container labels and read and follow all applicable directions for use, restrictions and precautions.
It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
This recommendation must be in the possession of the user at the time of pesticide application.
This recommendation is made as permitted by Section 2(ee) of FIFRA, as amended, and has not been submitted to or approved by EPA.
