GENERAL INFORMATION

AMS Spray Grade is a highly refined and processed sprayable ammonium sulfate designed to enhance pesticide performance. AMS Spray Grade reduces antagonism in the spray tank and increases deposition of the pesticide resulting in improved uptake by the targeted weed species.

AMS Spray Grade disperses rapidly in solution and has been specifically designed to mix well in cold water.

AMS Spray Grade is designed and manufactured with a very high level of purity to prevent plugged nozzles and screens. It is conveniently packaged and pre- measured for a wide range of application rates and equipment.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

CONSULT YOUR LOCAL FERTIZONA REPRESENTATIVE OR OTHER AGRICULTURAL SPECIALIST FOR

SPECIFIC CROP RECOMMENDATIONS.

Always read and follow all label directions, mixing instructions, and precautionary statements of the pesticide being applied. AMS Spray Grade may be used with applications labeled for Agricultural, Industrial, Non-Cropland, and other uses when the pesticide label suggests, recommends, or requires the use of ammonium sulfate as an adjuvant to improve pesticide performance.

DETERMINING USE RATES

The AMS Spray Grade use rate must be determined by the pesticide label adjuvant recommendations and guidelines.

When the pesticide label recommends AMS Spray Grade rate per 100 gals:

Substitute AMS Spray Grade at the exact rate. For example: when 17 pounds per 100 gals. or 2% by weight is suggested, use 17 pounds AMS Spray Grade per 100 gals. of spray solution.

When the pesticide label recommends AMS Spray Grade rate per acre:

AMMONIUM SULFATE RATE: When pesticide labels suggest a particular rate of AMS Spray Grade per acre, substitute the exact rate per acre using AMS Spray Grade.

Mix these amounts of AMS Spray Grade per 100 gals.

10 GPA 12 GPA 15 GPA 50 GPA

2.0 lbs. per acre 20 lbs. 17 lbs. 13 lbs. 10 lbs.

2.5 lbs. per acre 25 lbs. 21 lbs. 17 lbs. 13 lbs.

3.0 lbs. per acre 30 lbs. 25 lbs. 20 lbs. 15 lbs.

PREPARING SPRAY SOLUTION

Thoroughly clean all spray mixing and application equipment prior to and following each use.

Unless directed otherwise by mixing instructions on the pesticide label, AMS Spray Grade should be mixed as follows:

1. Fill solution tank one half full of water and begin agitation.

2. Add AMS Spray Grade to the solution and continue agitation until dissolved.

If no mechanical agitation is available, it may be necessary to slurry mix AMS Spray Grade in water prior to adding to the tank.

3. Add remaining tank-mix products in the following order: dry flowables and water dissolvable granules, wettable powders, flowables, solution, and emulsifiable concentrates.

4. Additional adjuvants as required.

5. Continue filling while agitating until all added products are thoroughly mixed into spray solution.
