1. Before we begin this chapter, I want to draw your attention back to Revelation 6:12 where we read about the circumstances surrounding the loosing of the 6th seal.
7 章に入る前に、第６の封印の開封を取り巻く状況を読んだ 6 章 12 節に皆さんに注目してもらいたいと 思います。
a. When Jesus opens that 6th seal, cataclysmic, catastrophic, and even cosmiccalamities shake the earth to its very core!
イエス様が 6 つ目の封印を解かれる時、激変、壊滅そして宇宙的の災いさえこの世の核心まで揺さ ぶります。
b. In the verses that follow we read how every class of mankind is affected by the loosing of that seal!
続けて読む節には、あらゆる階級の人間が、封印の解き放ちにより影響を受けます。
c. In the face of such dreadful circumstances, the 6th chapter ends with the inhabitants on earth asking the rhetorical question, who is able to stand?
このような恐ろしい状況にも関わらず、6 章は地上に住む人々の「だれがそれに耐えられよう？」 という修辞的な質問で終わります。（否定的な答えが帰ってくる質問）
2. Chapter 7 answers that question. 7 章はその質問に答えています。
a. As we look at chapter 7 today, we’ll see two groups who are still standing. 私たちが今日 7 章を見る間、まだ耐えている 2 つのグループが出てきます。
Read Revelation 7:1-17 (NKJV)1and Pray
黙示録 7 章 1 節～17 節を読んでお祈りをします。
1. Many believe that chapter 7 is a Parenthetical insert to the events that are unfolding here in the book of Revelation.
7 章は、黙示録の中で明らかになる幾つかの出来事を括弧内に起こることとして挿入していることが信 じられます。
a. It is a pause to provide additional information. 更なる情報を備えるための小休止です。

b. Chapter 7 is not about events, but individuals, before the judgments resumes in Chapter 8. 7 章は出来事についてではなく、8 章の中の裁きが始まる前の神のしもべ達についてです。
1) It’s like a period of character development.
この小休止は登場人物の発展の期間のようなものです。 2) In the film industry this is vital to the success of your film.
映画産業においては、この期間は物語が成功するためには不可欠です。
a) If you don’t fully introduce and develop your main characters, then your audience will be lost and lack the perspective needed to pull you into the storyline.
もしあなたが十分に紹介せず、主な登場人物を作り上げていないければ、観客は混乱し話 しに引き込むために必要な視点が欠けるでしょう。
You won’t understand what’s going on and you ask questions like, “Who is that?” and “Why are they doing that?”
あなたは何が起こっているのか理解できず、「あれは誰？」とか「なぜ彼らはあんな 事をしているんだ？」と言う質問をするでしょう。
b) But, if you overdevelop the characters, then the story gets too long and becomes boring.
しかし、もしあなたが登場人物を発展しすぎた場合、話は長すぎて退屈になります。
The slow-moving story will bore you with tedious details and lose your interest.
ゆっくり進む話は、単調でつまらない詳細であなたを退屈にさせ、あなたの興味を失 わせるでしょう。
c. God, in His ways, perfectly pauses to provide details to help our understanding here and to keep us tracking with this unfolding story…
神様の方法で、私たちの理解を容易にし、明らかになる話についていけるよう助けのための詳細を 備えてくださるための完璧な休みを下さいます。
1) This glimpse into the future. これは未来を垣間見るものです。
Revelation 7:1 1 After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.
黙示録 7 章 1 節：この後、私は見た。四人の御使いが地の四隅に立って、地の四方の風を堅く押え、地にも 海にもどんな木にも、吹きつけないようにしていた。
1. In this parenthetical pause it’s as if we’ve entered the eye of storm… この括弧内の小休止の間、私達はあたかも台風の目に入ったかのようです。
a. The wind has ceased which would bring about a temporary calm upon the face of the earth. 風は地上に一時的な静けさをもたらして止みました。
2. Notice that there is a lot of angel activity recorded in the book of Revelation. 黙示録には沢山の御使いの活動が記録されていることに注目して下さい。
a. In this passage, we find angels who have authority over the elements of nature. この節で、自然の要素に関する権力を持つ御使い達に気づきます。
1) These angels are no mere meteorologists who predict the weather. これらの御使いは、天気を予測する単なる気象学者ではありません。
b. When I was in 9th grade, I took Earth Science and the part I enjoyed most about that class was our unit study on Meteorology!
私が中学 3 年生の時、地球科学（地学）を専攻し、最も楽しんだ授業は気象学に関する勉強でした。 1) Florida has its fair share of weather phenomena with hurricanes, tornadoes, and violent
lightning and thunderstorms.
フロリダはハリケーン、竜巻そして激しい雷と雷雨を伴う気象現象がたくさんあります。 2) Studying the circumstances that cause these weather storms was fascinating to me.
これらの天候の原因となる環境の勉強は、私の心を惹きました。
3) Not to mention that fact that meteorologists are often wrong, but they don’t loose their jobs…
気象学はしばしば間違っているという事実は言うまでもありません。 4) So I thought that would be a great occupation to pursue!
ですから、私はそれを追求するのはすばらしい仕事だと思いました。
c. But you see, these angels in Revelation 7 are not weather predicting agents; they are weather controlling beings that have been sent to level judgment against the enemies of God.
しかし、7 章の中の御使い達は気象観測員ではありません；彼らは、神様の敵に対して裁きを行う ために遣わされた気象を管理している御使いたちです。
3. Some have tried to say that the phrase “four corners of the earth” means that God doesn’t know that the world is round.
幾人かは「地の四隅」という言葉は、神様は彼らの世界が丸いことを知らなかったと言う意味だと言お うとしました。
彼らはあなたに、「神様は地球が丸いことさえ知らないので、神様を信じることは出来ません。」 と言います。
b. They couldn’t be more wrong!
彼らはこれほど間違ったことはありません。
1) First of all, here are a few images to help you visualize this statement. (Show Slides) まず第一に、この発言を思い浮かべ易くするために幾つかの画像があります。(スライドを見 る)。
2) Maps – When you lay them all out, there are four corners. 地図―あなたがこれら全てを配置した場合、4 つの隅があります。 3) Moreover, there are four directions – North, East, South, and West.
さらに 4 つの方向―北、東、南そして西です。
c. Of course we know that the earth is round and the scriptures declared this long before this discovery was made…
もちろん私達は地球が丸いことと、聖句はこの事が発見される前から地球が丸いことを裏付けてい ることを知っています。
1) Isaiah 40:22 tells us that God sits above the circle of the earth.
イザヤ書 40：22 は、神様は地球の円の上に座っておられると言っています。
2) That was written about 2,000 years before mankind discovered that the earth wasin fact round and not flat as was previously believed.
これは人間が地球が丸いことと、これまでに信じられていたように平坦ではなかったことを発 見する 2000 年前に書かれたものです。
d. Time and time again, it is the bible that is in perfect harmony with this created world and it is our scientific notions and ideas that have been wrong over the course of human history! 何度も言いますけど、この造られた世界と見事に調和しているのが聖書であり、そして人間の歴史 に渡って間違っていたのは私たちの科学的概念と考えなのです。
1) You can believe every word that is found in the bible… Praise God for that!
あなたは聖書の中に見つけるそれぞれの言葉を信じることが出来るのです・・・神様を褒めた たえましょう。
Revelation 7:2-3 2 Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3 saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we
:2 また私は見た。もうひとりの御使いが、生ける神の印を持って、日の出るほうから上って来た。彼は、地 をも海をもそこなう権威を与えられた四人の御使いたちに、大声で叫んで言った。:3 「私たちが神のしもべ たちの額に印を押してしまうまで、地にも海にも木にも害を与えてはいけない。」
1. Just as we saw back in chapter 5, a seal on a scroll identified and protected its contents… 私達が 5 章で見た通りに、巻き物の封印が示し内容が保護されている・・・
a. What God does here is that he places His own seal upon this special group of men, identifying them as His own and guaranteeing His protection over their lives.
ここで神様がされるのは、御自分のこの特別な男性のグループの上に封印を押して、そしてこのグ ループを御自分に属するものと明らかにし彼らの命の守りを保証しておられます。
2. And what God will do for them in the future is what God has done for us in the present. そして、未来で神様が彼らにされることは、今の私たちにされた事です。
a. Ephesians 1:13–14 13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy
Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the
purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
エペソ書 1:13～14 :13 またあなたがたも、キリストにあって、真理のことば、すなわちあなたが たの救いの福音を聞き、またそれを信じたことによって、約束の聖霊をもって証印を押されました。 :14 聖霊は私たちが御国を受け継ぐことの保証であられます。これは神の民の贖いのためであり、 神の栄光がほめたたえられるためです。
b. You don’t have to worry about your salvation.
あなたは自分の救いについて心配する必要はありません。
1) When you come to Jesus by faith, He puts His Spirit in you which is a guarantee of your redemption.
信仰によってイエス様を信じるとき、イエス様はあなたの贖いを保障する御自分の聖霊をあな たの内に与えられるのです。
2) Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a
good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
ピリピ 1 章 6 節：あなたがたのうちに良い働きを始められた方は、キリスト・イエスの日が来 るまでにそれを完成させてくださることを私は堅く信じているのです。
3. This mark or seal on their foreheads stands in contrast to the mark that the unsaved people will take upon their hand or foreheads from the beast in Revelation 13:16.
しもべたちの額の印は、黙示録 13:16 の獣から人々が彼らの手または額に受ける印と対象的です。 a. These two marks place the people in two distinct categories…
1) Those owned by God… and those owned by Satan. 神様に属する人々・・・そしてサタンに属する人々です。
Revelation 7:4-8 4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred
and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed: 5 of the tribe
of Judah twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed; 6 of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were
sealed; of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand were sealed; 7 of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of
Levi twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed; 8 of
the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand
were sealed; of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.
黙示録7 章 4 節～8 節 :4 それから私が、印を押された人々の数を聞くと、イスラエルの子孫のあらゆる部 族の者が印を押されていて、十四万四千人であった。:5 ユダの部族で印を押された者が一万二千人、ルベン の部族で一万二千人、ガドの部族で一万二千人、:6 アセルの部族で一万二千人、ナフタリの部族で一万二千 人、マナセの部族で一万二千人、:7 シメオンの部族で一万二千人、レビの部族で一万二千人、イッサカルの 部族で一万二千人、:8 ゼブルンの部族で一万二千人、ヨセフの部族で一万二千人、ベニヤミンの部族で一万 二千人、印を押された者がいた。
1. These are the names of the sons of Jacob who became the heads of the tribes of Israel. これらはイスラエル部族の族長となったヤコブの息子たちの名前です。
a. Make no doubt aboutit, these people are Jews! 間違いなく彼らはユダヤ人です。
1) This is not the Jehovah’s Witnesses. これはエホバの証人ではありません。 2) This is not the Seventh Day Adventists.
これはセブンスデー・アドベンチストではありません。
b. These are all Jews, from the tribes of Israel who are safeguarded from judgment and the Antichrist.
裁きと反キリストから守られるイスラエルの部族からのユダヤ人です。
1) This is similar to what God is doing presently for us through the protection of His Spirit.
これは、神様が神様の霊の守りを通して私たちにのために現在されておられることと似ていま す。
2) 1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He
who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
第一ヨハネ 4 章 4 節：子どもたちよ。あなたがたは神から出た者です。そして彼らに勝ったの です。あなたがたのうちにおられる方が、この世のうちにいる、あの者よりも力があるからで す。
3) Through His Holy Spirit God has granted to us great power and protection! 神様の聖霊を通して、神様は偉大な力と守りを私たちに与えてくださいました。 2. According to Revelation 14, these 144,000 are virgin men who are saved.
黙示録 14 章によると、この 144,000 人は救われた童貞の男性たちです。
a. They are Messianic Jews, people who are ethnically Jewish, but have recognized and accepted Jesus as their Messiah and Lord.
彼らは民族的にはユダヤ人ですが、イエス様を彼らの救世主であり主として認めて受け入れました。 1) They become evangelists in this world during the Great Tribulation.
彼らは患難時代の間のこの世の伝道者となります。
3. Contrary to what some say, God is not done with the Jewish people. ある人々が言うのとは反対に、神様はユダヤ人を見捨ててはおられません。
a. In Romans 9-11, Paul clearly shows us that God is not yet finished with Israel (Heitzig). ローマ 9 章～11 章では、パウロは神様はイスラエルを見捨てていないと明確に示しています。（ Heitzigさんの言葉）
1) Chap 9 describes God’s election of the Jewish nation. 9 章では、神の選びのユダヤ国家と記載しています。
2) Chap 10 explains God’s temporary rejection of Israel.
10 章では、神が一時的にイスラエルを拒否することを説明しています。
3) And Chap 11 predicts the divine restoration of the nation. そして 11 章では神が国を復興されることを予測しています。 b. Turn with me to Romans 11:25-36 (and Read).
ローマ 11 章 25 節～36 節を開いて下さい（読みます）。
1) When Israel rejected Jesus as Messiah, a national blindness has swept over the nation. イスラエルがイエス様をメシヤとして拒否したとき、全国民が盲目になり国全体を襲いました。
最終的には、神様の関心がユダヤ人に戻ります。
3) That will happen when the full number of Gentiles has come in, or come to salvation. それは、救われるべき異邦人の数が完全に満たされる時に起こります。
4) God alone knows how many Gentiles will be saved. 神様だけが何人の異邦人が救われるかを知っています。
5) When the last one comes to faith in Christ, He will remove the church from the earth through the rapture.
最後の 1 人がキリストを信じる時、空中携挙を通して教会を取り去られます。
6) In Daniel’s seventy weeks prophesy found in Daniel chap 9:24-27, the final 7 year period of that prophesy will be the unfolding of the Tribulation period.
ダニエル書 9 章 24 節～27 節のダニエルの 70 週の預言の中で、預言の最後の 7 年間は、患難時 代の期間になります。
c. Isaiah 43:1 1 But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.
イザヤ 43 章 1 節：だが、今、ヤコブよ。あなたを造り出した方、主はこう仰せられる。イスラエル よ。あなたを形造った方、主はこう仰せられる。「恐れるな。わたしがあなたを贖ったのだ。わた しはあなたの名を呼んだ。あなたはわたしのもの。
d. Isaiah 43:5–7 5 Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants
from the east, And gather you from the west; 6 I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And
to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, And My daughters from
the ends of the earth— 7 Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My
glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”
イザヤ書 43 章 5 節～7 節：5 恐れるな。わたしがあなたとともにいるからだ。わたしは東から、あ なたの子孫を来させ、西から、あなたを集める。:6 わたしは、北に向かって『引き渡せ。』と言い、 南に向かって『引き止めるな。』と言う。わたしの子らを遠くから来させ、わたしの娘らを地の果 てから来させよ。:7 わたしの名で呼ばれるすべての者は、わたしの栄光のために、わたしがこれを 創造し、これを形造り、これを造った。:8 目があっても盲目の民、耳があっても耳しいた者たちを 連れ出せ。
e. Isaiah 44:21 21 “Remember these, O Jacob, And Israel, for you are My
servant; I have formed you, you are My servant; O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me!
イザヤ書 44 章 21 節：ヤコブよ。これらのことを覚えよ。イスラエルよ。あなたはわたしのしもべ。 わたしが、あなたを造り上げた。あなたは、わたし自身のしもべだ。イスラエルよ。あなたはわた しに忘れられることがない。
4. The nation of Israel is an example of not a nation’s faithful, but of our God’s faithfulness. イスラエルの国は、国の忠実さの例えではないが、私たちの神様の忠実さの例えです。
イスラエルは、神様の恵みのショーケースです。
2) The work of God in and through the nation of Israel is proof that God is true to His word.
イスラエルの国においてまた国を通してなされた神様の業は、神様は御言葉に忠実であるとい う証拠です。
b. Some of you may be saying, “I’m not Jewish so who cares.” And I’m here to tell you, “You should care!”
みなさんのうち幾人かは、「私はユダヤ人ではないから関係ない。」と言うかも知れませんが、私 はここで言いますけれども「関係があるのです。」と言います。
1) If God were to break His promises with the nation of Israel, then who’s not to say that God will break His promises to us, the church.
もし、神様がイスラエルとの約束を破られたら、神様は私たちとの約束、教会に対する約束も 破られないと誰が言えるでしょう。
Moreover, God has said, “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you” – Genesis 12:3
さらに、神様は言われました、「あなたを祝福する者をわたしは祝福し、あなたをのろう者を わたしはのろう。」創世記 12 章 3 節
2) We can experience blessings by blessing the Nation of Israel. イスラエルを祝福することで祝福を体験できます。
a) How? Praying for their peace. Simply asking that God would bless them. どうやって？イスラエルの平和を祈ることです。単純に神様が彼らを祝福してくださるこ とを祈るのです。
b) You don’t have to agree or support everything they do politically.
イスラエルが行う政治的な全てのことに同意したりサポートする必要はありません。 c) It’s supporting the existence of the nation on a whole and the people who make up
the Jewish race.
イスラエルのために祈るということは、国家としての存在とユダヤ人種を作りあげている 人々をサポートすることです。
3) With elections coming up, I feel that it is your duty to vote.
アメリカでは選挙が近づいて来ていますが、私は投票するのが義務だと感じます。 a) Can you imagine living in Syria right now? It’s our right to vote, let’s do it.
あなたは、今シリアに住んでいることが想像できますか？ 投票は私達の権利です。ぜひ、 投票しましょう。
b) One area to look for in politicians is what their position is on Israel; that is a key issue.
政治家に求める一つの面は、イスラエルに対する彼らの姿勢です；それは重要な問題です。 5. In this list of names, perhaps you are wondering, where are the Tribes of Dan and Ephraim?
この名前のリストの中で、あなたはダンとエフライムの部族はどこだろうと思うかもしれません。 a. Dan was the first tribe to introduce idolatry to the tribes of Israel. Dan did not want to cross
over into the promised land.
ダンは、イスラエル部族に最初に偶像を紹介した部族です。ダンは約束の地に移りたくありません でした。
b. Ephraim also entered into idolatry historically and is excluded from being an End Times evangelist.
エフライムも歴史的に偶像崇拝に走ったので、終末の伝道者から排除されています。 6. No doubt, the operation of the H.S. will change during the tribulation.
間違いなく、患難時代には聖霊の働きが変わります。
a. It would appear that the operation of the Holy Spirit during the tribulation period will resemble the work of the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament.
患難時代の聖霊の働きは旧約時代の聖霊の働きに似るものと考えられます。 b. He would come upon only a few.
聖霊はほんの数人たちにしかのぞみません。
c. The Spirit will work, empower and protect a few individuals, but not institutions. 霊は数人の人達に働き、権限を与えそして守りますが、機関や組織ではありません。
7. But the question is, Who can stand? And the first part of this answer is: the 144,000 Jewish witness of the tribulation.
しかし、質問は「だれが耐えられるか？」です。そしてこの答えの最初の部分は：144,000 人のユダヤ人、 患難時代の証人です。
Conclusion:結果
1. Chapter 6 ends with the questions, who is able to stand during this great and terrible Tribulation?
6 章は幾つかの質問で終わります。この患難時代に「誰が耐えることができよう。」？
a. Chapter 7 answers that question… the 144,000 Jewish evangelist along with those who trust in Jesus for their salvation.
7 章はその質問の答えです・・・144,000 人のユダヤ人伝道者が救いのためにイエス様を信頼する 人々と共にいます。
b. But these two groups are not the only ones standing…
しかし、耐えているのはこの二つのグループだけではありません。
2. We presently stand with Christ and will continue to do so for all of eternity! 私達は現在、イエス様と共に耐え、永遠のために続けて耐えるのです。
a. Romans 8:37–39 says, 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
ローマ 8 章 37 節～39 節 :37 しかし、私たちは、私たちを愛してくださった方によって、これ らすべてのことの中にあっても、圧倒的な勝利者となるのです。:38 私はこう確信しています。 死も、いのちも、御使いも、権威ある者も、今あるものも、後に来るものも、力ある者も、:39 高さも、深さも、そのほかのどんな被造物も、私たちの主キリスト・イエスにある神の愛から、 私たちを引き離すことはできません。
1) We have eternal security!
