Biomass Fuel Oil made from Microalgae

ABSTRACT
Algae of size from lµm to lOOµm inhabiting in a water is generally defined a microalgae. Many of microalgae utilize the sunlight, fixe C02 and photosynthesize carbohydrates alike ground plants. As result, almost microalgae accumulate oils and fats so-called a triacylglyceride in condition of a lack of nitrogen. Some microalgae in frequently accumulate hydrocarbon oils. A feature of microalgae is high efficiency of the order of magnitude on the production than ground plants and there are no conflicts against other crops. Therefore, biofuels extracted from triacylglyceride and fats, hydrocarbon oils within microalgae are noted as starting materials for producing so-called a biofuel oil on the next generation. In future, measures against both energy security and global warming compatible, when mass culture and economic mass product technologies will be established. I illustrate each business challenge on industrialization of fuel oil made microalgae biomass, mass culture, mass production system and LCC analysis in order to consider the profitability of the microalgae biofuel oil business in this paper.
