Grammar Review （文法の復習） ( 5-10 min) Use of Active Voice（能動態の使い方）
1. In active voice, the doer or the subject of the action is emphasized, not the action itself. (能動態では、動作・行動そのものではなくそれを行う人・物あるいは主語が 強調されます。)
Example: The New York Yankees won the baseball game.
(ニューヨークヤンキースが野球の試合で勝利しました。)
2. Gives more energy to the writing; it is shorter and more direct than the passive voice. (受動態よりも短く直接的な表現であり、文章表現を力強いものにします。) Example:
Passive: Your request has been denied by the committee. (受動態：あなたの要求は委員会により拒否されました。) Active: The committee denied your request.
