Characteristics of Galvannealed Steel Sheet Applied to Automobile Bodies

要旨 : 合金化溶融亜鉛めっき鋼板を自動車車体パネル用材料とするためには,種々の特性を改善 する必要があった。プレス成形のために優れた機械的性質を得るとともに,スポット溶接 の連続打点性を確保するためにはTi-Nb-Bを複合添加した極低炭素鋼を素地鋼板と することが有効である。また,プレス加工時のめっき剥離が少なく,かつプレス金型と摺 動性が優れためっき層を得るためには,めっき層中のFe含有率を8~11%の範囲に制御 するとともに,760K近傍の温度で合金化処理,めっき層の相構成をδ1単相に近くするこ とが重要である。プレス金型との摺動性を改善するためには,上層に3g/m2以上のF e-P合金電気めっきを施すことも有効である。 Synopsis :

It in necessary to improve properties of galvannealed sheet steel in order to apply it to automobile body panels. Both excellent mechanical properties and high continuous spot weldability can be acquired by using Ti-Nb-B co-added extra-low C sheet steel as substrate material. Additionally it is important to control Fe content of coating within the range of 8 to 11% and to make coating almost into single phase, δ1, by galvannealing the coating at a temperature of about 760K to obtain good coating adhesion and good friction property in pressforming at the same time. A flash coating of Fe-P alloy on galvannealed coating is also effective to improve the friction property.
