o. ‑ ‑ Head:  e y e s   covered  with  s h o r t   s p 紅 s e minute  h a i r s ，  c l o s e l y   approximated ，  and with  uniform  f a c e t s ;   f r o n s   r e d d i s h   brown ，  t r i a n g u l a r ，  d i s a p p e a r i n g   b 巴 tween p a r a ‑ f r o n t a 1 i a  below o c e l 1 a r  t r i a n g l e  ;  p a r a f r o n t a l i a  s i l v e r   grey ，  narrow ，  c o n t i g u o u s   f o r   a s h o r t   d i s t a n c 巴 and narrowed above; p a r a f a c i a l i a   s i l v e r ‑ d u s t e d ，  reddish below ，  s e t u l o s e   above; 

medianae  reddish  brown; j o w l s   dark  grey  with  l o n g   b l a c k   b r i s t l e s ，  reddish  towards  v i b r i s s a l  a n g l e ，  a b o u t  o n e ‑ t h i r d  e y e ‑ h e i g h t  ;  f a c e   dark grey with  s l i g h t   t r a c e   o f   a median  c a r i n a  between b a s e s  o f   antennae;  epistome orange ;  f a c i a l i a  with s e t u l a e  on l o w e r   h a l f ;   v i b r i s s a e  i n s e r t e d  s l i g h t l y  above margin o f  epistome ;  antennae reddish orange ，  t h e   t h i r d   segment s l i g h t l y  p a l 巴 browna p i c a l 1 y ，  a b o u t  two and a  h a l f  times l e n g t h   o f   second;  a r i s t a   b l a c k ，  long‑plumose ;  p a l p i  o r a n g e .

L e n g t h  :  7  ‑9  mm.

R e l a t i o n s h i t s  ‑ ‑ Somewhat  resembles  P a r a d i c h o s i a   a b d o m i n a l i s ，  from  India ，  b u t  

s c u t e l l u m  a t   l e a s t   b l a c k   a t   b a s e ，  f i r s t   v i s i b l e   s t e r n i t e   i n   male  l e s s   prominent ，  t e r m i n a l  

s t e r n i t e  w i t h o u t  a t u f t  o f   r o d ‑ l i k e  h a i r s .   I t   a l s o   resembles  P . ρ u s i l l a   (V i l 1 eneuve) ，  from 

Formosa ，  b u t  d i f f e r s  from i t   i n  having  l a r g e r   body ，  p i l o s 巴 e y e s and f i r s t   v i s i b l e   s t e r n i t e  

i n  male s h o r t .   I t   w i l 1   be d i s t i n g u i s h e d  from  P .   c r i n i t a r s i s   V i l 1 eneuve ，  form Formosa ，  by 

t h e  hind t a r s i  w i t h o u t  a  f r i n g e  o f   h a i r s .
