Application Guidelines for VUW2017

Victoria University of Wellington (VUW) is one of a few New Zealand

universities where Waseda students can study abroad as exchange students. The

exchange program between FPSE and VUW was started from 2013. Being located

in the capital, and being located in the center of economics, politics and culture in

New Zealand, VUW is a suitable place to study in the field of political science and

economics.

・Applicants must have a high level of English proficiency equivalent to TOEFL score of PBT 550 (CBT 213, iBT 80) or above.

・GPA 2.7 or above out of 4.0 is required (GPA by CIE calculation is not applicable).

Tuition Fees

Whereas successful candidates are to pay their tuition fees for

Waseda during their stay at VUW, they do not have to pay any tuition fees for VUW; however, other expenses such as travel expenses, living expenses and other miscellaneous expenses are to be defrayed by successful candidates.

Screening Process

4．Final Approval by VUW TBA

Notes

Information of the successful candidates is to be sent to VUW after the internal screening at FPSE and the final decision for acceptance will be made by VUW.

Once successful candidates are accepted, they are not allowed to apply for other study abroad programs offered by CIE or FPSE. Successful candidates have to purchase university-designated overseas travel insurance before going to study abroad.
