○Do not cover or hide your garbage with newspapers etc.

○Kitchen waste should be well dried. ○Remove feces from used disposable diapers.

○Wood and branches should be no bigger than 5cm in diameter and 40cm in length. Boards should be cut into pieces within 40scm. Do not bundle them.

○Please use “Garden Waste Recycling” for pruned

branches.

○Large items have to be smaller than 40scm pieces.

○Spray cans must be used up completely and make a hole in cans to take all the gas out outside where is away from flames.

○Knives should be wrapped with papers etc.

○Electric cords are disposed as “Used Small

Household Appliances” without cutting.

○Cans larger size than 18L should be disposed as

“Over-sized Trash”.

○Food can and bottle-type can tops should be

disposed as “Metal Items”.

○Empty garbage items.

○Remove caps and plastic tops.

○Large pieces should be broken into smaller pieces to avoid tearing bags. Please watch out not to get injured as well.

○Glass and crockery can be put in a bag.

○Separately dispose among colorless (white), brown colored, and other colored bottles.

○Take off caps and rinse to remove dirt or oil, and dry. Tearing off the labels is unnecessary.

○Dispose white frosted glass bottles as “Colorless” glass bottles.

○Broken glass bottles and cooking oil glass bottles

should be disposed as “Glass and Crockery”

○“One Cup Sake” glass bottles should be disposed as

“other colored”.

○Lightly rinse and dry them.

○No need to separate aluminum cans from steel cans. ○Food can and bottle-type can tops should be

disposed as“Metal Items”. ○No need to crush cans.

○Caps and labels should be disposed as “Plastic

Containers and Packaging”.

○No need to remove plastic rings. ○Lightly rinse and dry containers. ○Soiled bottles should be disposed as

○Large batteries should be disposed as “Over-sized Trash”.

○Using recycling boxes in stores are recommended for button cells and small charger type cells.

○Small items should be flatten and put into other wrappings, or put in a paper bag with mark and tie it crosswise to dispose.

○Dirt, metal and plastics should be removed from items. ○Make an easy carrying bundle of papers by type

and tie it crosswise to dispose.

○Rip other materials (such as plastic, cloth, leather, or metal) off and dispose respectively.

○No need to remove staples from magazines or other papers.

household appliances.

Open: according to business hours of each recycling

center (9:00am-4:00pm)

○Please put the items in the designated containers.

○Remove leaves as many as possible and cut off twigs.

Bind with ropes, etc. after making them portable length.

○Wood chips are free to take on the open days (at no

charge)

○These recycle boxes in main city office and city branch office collect items within 15cm height x 35cm width x 25cm depth. Bring larger items into a respective recycling center.
