Announcement of Most-Cited Paper Award
ÓJapan Monkey Centre and Springer 2008
To Authors of Primates:
The Japan Monkey Centre (JMC) presents the Most- Cited Paper Award to the author whose paper was pub- lished in Primates and in the subsequent 2 years was most often cited. We welcome exciting and stimulating papers that attract many readers, and we encourage scientists of all ages to submit their most interesting papers to Primates.
The first laureate of the Award (2007) was Dr. Nobuyuki Kutsukake, Department of Evolutionary Studies of Bio- systems, The Graduate University for Advanced Studies, Kanagawa. After Dr. Kutsukake received that award, two
more prizes were conferred on him by academic societies in 2008. It would appear, then, that our award does invite further recognition and good fortune! In addition, the recipient of the award receives gifts from both JMC and Springer, our publisher.
As a potential winner, you need only to submit your best paper to Primates, which we heartily encourage you to do. Toshisada Nishida
